MANA LEECH IS RUINED
Oh, i thought that diffusing the situation and pointing out that we both misunderstood each other at points would end up in you being reasonable and willing to start over and have an actual conversation about the topic at hand.
So much for that lol. My expectations must be too high. Dernière édition par Xendran#1127, le 19 mars 2014 à 14:41:29

" I don't see making shit up as a valid way to have a conversation, even if you redact that it's not *me* that you are making shit up about, but somebody *else* |

I don't see how i could possibly make up the idea that the group of people who are exaggerating the issue of mana leech are exaggerating the issue of mana leech...
You're still in a "gotta be right" mindset as opposed to a "what actually happened here" and "how do we get this conversation back on topic" mindset. |

" You didn't use "majority" you used "ton of", "many builds" ... " " SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

So, you don't see a difference between the words "many" and "majority?"
Fascinating. They certainly aren't synonyms. The words have very different meanings. " It's more that, instead of responding to the real people replying to you, you make up arguments from the "group of people" and respond to the fictional made-up arguments instead. So yes, it's a straw man argument, and also an exaggeration. So until you stop doing this, it's going to be very hard for the thread to be truly on topic, because it's hard for a topic to stay on topic when there's people who prefer to make things up rather than respond to what is actually said. " "ton of" is very hyperbolic in our case, just like "majority" that Xendran use. [edit : this one is prolly a little too much I guess] You just keep ignoring what people say, pretending that they are using straw men anyway, not point trying to discuss with you, as Xendran understood. So feel free to keep whining about the fact that "ton of builds" are not working anymore lol, personally, all my builds are doing well, even with the new leech, and it's pretty safe to assume that "ton of builds" not to say the vast majority in this case just got over it and adapted to 1.1.0 and are working just fine. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. Dernière édition par Fruz#6137, le 20 mars 2014 à 05:10:00

By the way, I'm willing to admit that my use of some words was definitely hyperbole and i've edited some stuff to make it a bit more apparent that I'm arguing against the people who are heavily exaggerating the impact of the nerf.
Tiki, you should consider doing what I did and just stop everything and try to compress what you are trying to say down into a concise statement that is difficult to be taken the wrong way. You are also not innocent of addressing points that were never made. You keep telling us how imbalanced mana is, when we have already established that we both agree on this. What we disagree on is the severity of the nerf, and the impact and amount of investment required to negate it. Dernière édition par Xendran#1127, le 19 mars 2014 à 15:42:14

" http://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/20tq5e/simple_suggestion_for_alternate_leech_mechanics/ somebody posted this like 2 hours ago. so far it has 45 upvotes and 7 downvotes. or, an overwhelmingly positive response. i wonder why? also: i refuse to be baited by your semantic bullshit arguments. @Tiki: Did you stop to think that the reason that thread got upvoted is because it offered an actual solution instead of "everything is imbalanced" and "tons of builds stopped working"?
