Lightning Strike Multistrike Bugfix Incoming

Since the projectiles base their damage off of your physical damage, and not your melee damage, Multistrike's -40% Melee damage should only apply to the melee portion of the attack, and not the projectiles.

This seems logical, no?

BUT whoever said that multistrike after the change will remain as -40% melee damage?

If GGG makes Multistrike's reduction only affect the melee portion, then that it fair and balanced and it makes sense.

If GGG makes the reduction also apply to the projectiles, then they need to make other gems like Melee Physical or Melee Damage on Full Life apply to projectiles.

Both scenarios are fine, if the 2nd happens then non Multistrike version of LS builds get buffed, and most people will swap Multistrike for another gem. I think the 1st option is the best though, since it would be following the current rules of Lightning Strike, instead of changing them.

On your note about Multistrike, It would be nice to see it buffed.

I'm a bit disappointed with these type of decision, people like me already leveled char 70+, spent currencies on it with this combo in the mind,i know the support don't work like intended with Lightining Strike, but also is not that op like other coockiecutter build, everyone now is encouraged to play the already know/boring buid. I don't see any reason to nerf it really, Imo put out a support and then nerf it is not the way to release new content. I learned the lesson never ever roll a char with new content before some weeks. Even if i'm dissapointed with it, i respect the decision to change how multistrike works, i can transition to another build, the problem is i can't change the bandit rewards so i'm forced to reroll, GGG this is not fun. Give us at least the chance to change the bandit rewards so our time is not lost!
well i just spend xx weeks on my ele lighting strike charr, gg with this reduction, i wont do any dmg at all once this nerf hits, GG ggg.

why the bloody hell do you want to give a projectile based skill the negative effect, based on melee, when you wont give it the positive effect like iron grip,/gain from str. this makes no sense.

GG on butt raping people, they might as well reroll, wont happen from my side, ill just QQ rant some more.

this actully means that my talent tree/points used is utterly worthless, and all my items/gems as well for this charr. wow, great great.

Projectile as well, or are you blind ?
LS deals melee physical damage so it is reduced by MS. Seems like working as intended to me.
