This is exactly why most people vieuw PoE as ethically. The game doesn't limit your gameplay in any way, unless you yourself feel the need you require more. And a game pushing you abit towards that, is totally fine. Afterall we don't all believe Chris and his employees work pro deo. I guess I'm just from a different era of gamers then the babies in this topic. I have spent every dime on this game because I felt they deserved it, not because I wanted something. Because in this day and age a game that provides a 98% ethically free game to us is valuable. I just wish the 2% ethical leeches would move on to all these great 100% free games out there. And leave this one be. |

" It doesn't matters whether you can beat the whole game with the 4 base stashes or not... the fact that the game has a feature that let you get an extra advantage over others (in this case, buying more stash tabs) is pay to win. You can spin it any way you want... you can try to come with the worst excuses to white knight GGG, but in the end, having stash tabs on sale is PAY TO WIN, end of the story. It's actually hilarious seeing all you fanboys trying to desperately defend GGG in any way you can, and when you realize you can't find a way to do it, you retort to insults and such... " They do give an advantage. I own many of them, and I know how much better I have it, because I also have an alt account, I havent spent a dime on. I can literally feel the difference. Its the main reason I refuse to play my alt account, and it just exists because it has some legacy items on it from where I did mule stuff back in the day. They give an advantage in speed, trading, storing, quality of life. They are an advantage over a free account. You know it, too. But again, I'm not giving GGG shit for it. I dont care. I'll buy more if the need arises. This is just a debate on whether it classifies as p2w or not. And guess what? Every F2p game I have ever played, has elements of p2w. Otherwise they could not sustain. I'm ok with it. Just selling MTX would never work. I'm ok with stash pages. I dont even care about items, tbh. I dont even care about RMT. I'm just debating whether it falls under the umbrella term, "p2w" and it does. I agree with a post after this. People should just drop 20 bucks on some stash pages when they go on sale and be done with it. But, even as an owner of tons of pages, I can agree it is an element of P2W. Its not the worst I have ever seen, and I dont actually care what GGG sells, because thats their perogative and its up to the individual gamer to decide if its a sticking point for them or not. For me, it isn't. I imagine it isn't for the vast majority of people you are arguing with. We are just arguing it is infact, p2w. I think you guys just dont want to be labeled that way. But who cares? Who really cares, how you spend your money? I'd buy exalts if GGG sold them. Guaranteed. Because some random person on the net's opinion of me means about zilch in my enjoyment of a game. I spend money on my mobile games, I spend money on any game I play if it offers it. |

But in case they don't want to they have options. Question though, if this company is so bad, and this game is so much P2W, then why are you still here. Move on to all these great games that offer the content PoE offers and give you money on top of it to play them. These havens of pro deo developers do exist right? F2P has never been a description for a game that absolutely has to played for free, neither for players to just always assume someone else will pick up the bill aslong as it isn't you.
