Under optimal conditions, about 1~2 sec. worth of stuttering and lag when Intervention spawns, but it has never crashed.

Aside: while farming Syndicate spawns in the Foothills, I also notice that the loading is not finished if they are present (e.g. flask buff icons are black if I activate them soon after loading in).

The freezes are pretty much random, not just from syndicates. For example,
I just zoned into a memory fragment zone and w/o any mobs around it froze
for about 4 secs. But subsequent memory fragment zones that I would enter
on the same play session had no problems.

In the past whenever sindicate would appear I would have had frame drops. A lot of them, now it just get's stuck and I get disconnected.

It looks to me that, unlike in Betrayal league, the encounter (or part of it) is not pre-loaded at all. And QA might not be able to catch it if it is also an edge case (lag the worst with a less modern PC's (mechanical HDD + 8GB ram, low CPU core count and CPU clock speed and RAM speed)).

As it is a known problem, that mechanical HDDs cause Frame Time spikes together with an FPS drop, when during mapping, a non-preloaded asset needs to be loaded.

But then again there are people here posting with SSDs, but then again, a SATA3 AHCI SSD is a bottleneck for modern PCs (4 cores, 3Ghz, DDR4 dual channel). NVMe is the new standard, SATA3 AHCI is the budget (AHCI protocol was never intended for SSD).

Otherwise. Wait for the next patches. And or upgrade minimum to an SSD (where you also place your windows page file on, not your old mechanical HDD) and upgrade from 8GB of RAM to 16GB of RAM (it's recommended for 64bit systems). RAM prices have come down due to current overstock.

When upgrading from 8GB to 16GB and you buy a 2nd 8GB stick (for dual channel mode), please buy the IDENTICAL stick you already have.

And if you are already at it. Upgrade from your Windows 7 to Windows 10 (best with a clean install, not the upgrade button. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

Microsoft ended mainstream support for Windows 7 on January 13, 2015, but extended support won't end until January 14, 2020.

Since 2015 you only get security updates, nothing else.

Dunno if anybody else got these problems,
but along with frame drops at syndicate encounters, I also sometimes get frame drops when i enter memories (not all the times).
And on top of this, since the new league my fps act crazy (jumps between 30-60) even when i dont even move at my hideout

Had massive problems with syndicate encounters (freeze/disconnect/pixel screen etc) while playing on steam (PoE on HDD)

Switched to Standalone (installed on SDD) and not a major problem any more.
