Are Stash Tabs Pay To Win ? Science
" He just did ... Plus you don't need to multi-box to use mules ......... SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

b15h09 and Wretch, don't pretend you bought tabs to support GGG.
you can support GGG by buying stuff that give you no in-game advantage, case in point ugly pixie wings MTX. shiny sword effect. baby Kuala pet. badass burning demon helmet. forum Undying Supporter title. but you chose to buy tabs. why is that? exactly. that said, the kind of PC I have, what I do with it, and what both you and I choose to spend money on - is nobody's damn business. I phrased my post the way I did, only to illustrate a very simple fact to you. but you seem to have trouble understanding the most trivial of metaphors, and a burning desire to take this off-topic. Fruz, please enlighten me on how to do that. note that everything I have in my packed-full stash can be useful at any given point, so I don't have the "luxury" of logging out, logging into another char, putting stuff in stash, logging out, logging into the first char, take the thing I need from Stash. all while you just - you know - go to town and take that thing from stash. oh wait, my instance just closed after all those silly char switching games. loading screens are a bitch. " Meh, I bought packs to support GGG, and have ended up with a buttload of points. Gotta spend em somewhere, and I really like being able to name and color code my tabs. But, I also like being able to throw on a flaming skull or have a pimped out fiery sword. Looks cool. I got lots of "Pixie Wings", around 50 premium tabs, and 5 alt/mule accounts. Probably going to make another mule just for shit I want to trade, if it makes sense with the new trading system they're implementing (I currently don't trade much, because the current system bugs me too much). Have lots of points sitting around, and could get plenty more tabs, but I really don't want any. Too much clutter as it is. I don't care what you do with your money. Just seems silly to bitch about not being able to use the free stash tabs GGG offers because your computer is too incompetent to handle it. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" silly? maybe. not related to this discussion or the point I'm trying to get across? definitely. and @both you and Wretch, this isn't about what you chose to spend your money on. I should make this part perfectly clear: all this is done to illustrate Stash Tabs - unlike any other MTX that GGG base their income on - is P2W. that is all. my aim isn't to criticize or attack you, only to illustrate the above fact. those questions I asked, were rhetorical ones. if you were somehow offended by my phrasing or writing style, I apologize. " Quite related. Your little story, one guy spends money on pixie wings, the other spends money on stash tabs. Storage is undoubtedly an advantage. Neither can utilize the free storage, so one guy can pay for an advantage that the other can't get for free. But that's a dumb argument. No policy by GGG is limiting you. It's only the hardware. In the same way, the game isn't free at all for someone else who has a computer that won't even run the client, or no computer at all. Which is kinda jumping the shark when it comes to P2W arguments. Can't really call any game F2P if you're using such logic, and every game is P2W. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" Seems to me, you're neglecting that any limitation on the advantage you have access to is a personal one, not a policy forced on you by GGG. Had they said "No, you can't make mules." I'd totally agree with you. But, they didn't. Now I have to ask: Is every game P2W? Is there no such thing as F2P? Seems that's the only conclusion you could draw from the logic you're working under. If I'm wrong, enlighten me. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" gladly. many Free-To-Play games nowadays are Pay-To-Win. some on an absolutely sickening level, while others do so rather discretely. the prime definition of "P2W" I know, is something that given two people with equal starting points - gives one a distinct advantage over the other, in the game. that's why my example is constructed this way, rather than the example you perhaps wish to see, of an Australian John Keys with a PC and Internet connection vs. a Nigerian Nnakeme who has neither. I also think my example is good, because both spent an equal amount of money, and both did so to give GGG their well-deserved pay. but one "won" an advantage by paying, while the other did not. so, is every F2P game today P2W? don't know, nor is it related to our discussion. is Path Of Exile P2W? tricky question. tabs are P2W, but I don't think the game as a whole is. a "Pay To Win game" must have more than one advantage-giving feature. the very goal of the game must be gated behind a P2W mechanism, and PoE doesn't do that. it does gate absolutely everything behind RNG, but that's an entirely different matter.
