I read "science" in this thread's title, so curiosity dragged me in ....

Science was very unlikely, actually I don't think that the OP knows what that words actually means at all, it's just another QQ thread ( from someone who probably made a post after finally understanding basics of this game, and trying to reproduce the way it happened ? ).

If you would not care, you would not come and waste your time ( and mine right now ) to write such a ridiculous post.



Having more stash tab is all about convenience, and does not necessarily have a big impact on the gaming experience, especially since mules are perfectly allowed.

All this money lost because you did not make some money instead with your leisure time.

Let's face it. The only people who think stash tabs are pay 2 win are those without stash tabs. People with stash tabs don't use those worthless recipes because they are a big time waster. If you're spending all your time hoarding rares to get an alc, then you aren't really winning, are you? You're losing to everybody who spends their time killing monsters instead of saving crappy items in the hopes of a low level currency orb

I still think GGG should offer a deal to all those who think stash tabs are the way to win. Give them 20 stash tabs at the start of the next challenge leagues. If they "win" those leagues, give them 20 more for free. If they "lose" those leagues, they pay double for those 20 tabs. They'd have to put the money in an escrow account though because I don't believe for a second any one of the "losers" would pay up. What would be "winning"? Now, there's the question. For the sake of this deal, let's say finishing in the top 100 in the ladder.

how much time does it take to pick up gavels and chance them and pick up 'worthless' uniques to do the 5chance orb recipe. not mentioning chaos recipe that is VERY easy to get once one gets into habit of not auto-vendoring rings/amu/belts

these recipes provide WAY more wealth than killing mobs. in fact in this game almost everything trumps killing mobs. ofc you can get one good drop from time to time, but recipes are STEADY and true source of income that on average is very very effective

and chancing gavels before doing chisel recipe has a mjolnier-spawning potential. i already chanced soul taker so all the 5chance orbs vendors paid of incredibly well. not mentioning that 2chisel=1chaos recently and one can find up to 4-5 suitable hammers per map..

sadly these are available for people with spare stash tabs only

Eer, you misunderstand me. The OP talked about saving a whole bunch of rares for I presume the alc recipe for items with the same name. For the chaos recipe you only need half a stash tab at most. Amulets, rings, and belts are the bottleneck for the chaos recipe, so it's a waste of space to hoard the other space consuming parts when having one at a time would suffice. And how much stash space do you need for gavels? At most, room for 2 gavels if trading the white, blue, and yellow in for an alc because as soon as you have the third part you trade all 3 in. If you're just doing the chisel recipe you don't need any stash space for gavels since as soon as you bring them to town you spend 5 seconds turning it into a chisel.

I'm not saying people don't do those recipes. I'm saying people with lots of stash tabs don't take the time to fill up all those tabs with items to vendor with recipes. They keep only as much as they need. I haven't seen anybody with 50 tabs use more than 2 for the chaos recipe.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I have played this game quite happily since 2011 with only 4 stash tabs. It was not until a few months ago i purchased a 6 pack, not because i needed them, but i wanted to support the developers of a game I enjoy.
