Is PoE Pay to win?

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and this is my very first post, please, don't take any offence by the Title, i'm just a lost casual gamer who's desperately seeking a fun game to play along with friends, that being said, i'm definitely NOT a fan of pay-to-win games. I heard several people on certain gaming forums having a discussion about this game, more specifically they talk and argue about it being a pay-to-win based kinda game, is it true? i don't mind paying for some gear or whatever i used to play Diablo 3 back in the days but that's not the kinda game i'm looking for, hope you understand where i'm coming from, thank you very much for reading.

Its not.

Its Grind or Trade to win. Like Diablo 2 only 2-3x more "time investment" needed.

You can only buy cosmetical effects with your Real Money.

Sure RMT exist too, but you get banned when they catch you. So stay away, Game is beatable with only Selffound Stuff, but when you whant BiS Gear, it takes ages of Grinding/Trading.

Like Diablo 2...just... More :)

No.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
for above average items ? no
for highend quality gear ? most def
a mirror costs around 130-140exalts
exalts dont drop often
there are mirror fees of 20-60exalts

you do the rest.
it´s months of months of currency exchanging buying selling vendoring hoarding etc.
same as d3 actually if you are unlucky.
so in a nutshell PoE is slightly pay2win.

This is nonsense. By that logic, every game is "pay to win". Even more so if you consider that for many of us time actually is money. I can't play all day because I have to work to pay for rent and food. Someone who doesn't have to do this (rich, welfare, student) has an advantage over someone who has to work. ;)
Yeah i wasn't planning to start an argument here, think i got what i needed thanks for everyone who replied :)
