Is PoE Pay to win?

The last time I believed what someone said on Youtube, It apparantly makes one a racist. So I generally dont tend to believe anyone on Youtube, and I suggest everyone do the same.

But having stash tabs is a convenience, not pay 2 win. We've been over this. GGG would NOT sell tabs if it was pay to win.

Pay to win literally means you are paying the developers to improve your characters strength. You dont become stronger with more stash tabs, you just have more storage space. You can hoard or more easily do vendor recipies, but that doesnt make you stronger, since you can do that without stash tabs. Just make mule characters and mule accounts. Its the same thing. How is it pay to win when its also free, just more annoying?

Is it just me or does it sound like we may aswell be talking to a brick wall.
Honestly, how hard is it for these guys to decipher that more stash does not equal UBER KILLING POWER.
In no way does that extra stash tab make me any stronger then i was without it.

ps. Yea, zelda is more adventure then rpg, but you still do loot gear and equip/use items in your inventory. Theres no real character development as such though you do travel around the world and talk to people, going through a storyline ( roleplay ). Its a tough one ........

I feel that extra stash tabs are a quality of life feature, which is similar to having a /oos macro for instance.

The question is, would people be angry if GGG banned any form of macro use but then sold their personal in-game tools that work much like the macro did?

When you buy exalted orbs with dollars you don't become stronger, you just have more currency. Buying currency for cash doesn't make you stronger, since you can get currency by farming. Just spend 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Its the same thing. How its bannable cheating when its also free, just more annoying?

This is true, but you are directly buying in game items that can in fact make you stronger. Being able to buy in game currency may not make you stronger as in do more damage or take less, but you buy wealth, and in about 99% of the population, wealth=power, and thus pay to win.

Stash tabs dont allow you to buy wealth, they just allow more inventory space. There is a difference between RMT purchasing of wealth=power vs having more space. YOU still have to go and find the gear to do vendor recipes to amass wealth, there is still work involved, you just have luxury with more space. I can do the same vendors without stash tabs.

Buying currency directly allows you to buy godly gear which is the exact power. Alot less steps involved with that. Stash tabs arent pay to win, they are a luxury, convenience, quality of life feature. They are not directly tied to your power in the game.
