I'm not going to argue it's not overpowered. Of course it is. I spend about an hour today trying to make a video about why it wasn't overpowered. I did a lot of recordings. But I broke down and realized how bullshit it was after I finally got the perfect recording and made my silly little 'it's overpowered as fuck' video of me killing mobs in ledge.
I know it's OP. But if it's going to get removed at least take Lioneye's out with it. Heh. They are really in pretty much the exact same boat. I still personally think they should stay to create 'special moments' for players where you get that really cool drop. You know, more items that are super high tier BIS create these moments. But I know for the sake of balance things shouldn't be this way. Either way. I'M ENJOYING IT. *goes back to farming normal ledge* |

As long as it's not more powerful than a perfectly rolled rare it's fine. FYI, it's not. Lioneyes on the other hand is.

The axe to me is a tad on the high end, because of the physical can freeze thing. I believe the current DPS rolls on this are like 320-360 or something, though I'm not going to go back to double check it. I know there is a sword on anarchy at 511 DPS pure phys, so an axe can surely roll 530+.
No having ele is not a draw back, no matter what people say. Ele DPS looks higher, but it goes through 60%++ resists on mobs, as apposed to 800 armor, which isn't displayed on your tooltip of course. People immediately honed in on the skills can't fail based on cost, all that does is save you from having blood magic on your attack, so it's the same as other uniques that give +1 gem slots, not nearly as broken as Bringer of Rain in this category though. What matters is that this is effectively 10-20% DPS above the standard "few exalted price" weapons out there, while making your physical damage freeze, while not having the draw back of low damage numbers that you typically see from cold. I don't think the weapon should be nerfed personally, as I think the game needs really strong items that aren't as broken as Kaoms/Shavs, but if anything happened to it, it would simply be making the DPS roll no higher than 300-310 IMO.
