Soul Taker needs a nerf

This is another good argument that is worth arguing out of this thread - strange that you're the only one here actually trying to be reasonable from another POV, that's admirable.

But again, to make the endelbendel item for people simply because "i have bad luck" is completely irrelevant to the problem and only smothers the existent system with liable corks that take away a lot from the system to grant you an aspect that won't even last for an eternity - it's selfish to expect anything to cater to your needs, when there is so much in life to open yourself up to, that wanting "x" is foolish no matter what. You need to "adapt", when change is not suitable, but you aren't doing this.

This is why the axe needs to be nerfed. Happiness isn't an argument. But I know where you're trying to come from, but it's not going to win over this argument because you're showing deep down how personal this issue is, while myself and others are looking at the practical issues.

I'm sure someone out there loves Hitler more than they love themselves, but that doesn't change what Hitler was and what Hitler did.

I disagree. I don't have the axe. It's not personal for me. They can get rid of it tomorrow and it won't really affect me, except in that I see no reason to ruin things for other people when it has ZERO EFFECT ON ME. If this were a PvP game, hell yeah, nerf it. It would break the game. In a game where you kill monsters, either in a party or by yourself, the only reason to nerf something like this axe is sheer jealousy.

You don't need to own the axe to argue for the axe, that's just one of the possible motives that drive people to come up with ignorant arguments; in this case, it is still a personal problem, but not where you think it is; you're projecting your personal feelings about people in general such as yourself which do not always get the best of luck; you're resorting to "mis-placed emotions" by fighting for this axe for reasons that are irrelevant and strictly personal without any practical demeanors.

What you are also eluding endlessly is the fact that this axe is eroding the game's weaponry system as it was originally intended to be built for... This is exactly the same problem printed money had on the economy, it was too easy to print money that it simply ate a hole into the economy whilst gold was a true distinction for currency inorder to bartel. It's too god-like, that people are depending on it, and the brain goes for the "best" when it can or even when it cannot, therefore this axe is not only god-like, but it's poison to everything that makes this game what it is whether you accept it or not - these are the cold facts.

Not to mention developers of this game are on our side, and not your side, which is another reason to consider the practical side over the personal side.

We are talking about what we know of the axe - not what we think personally of the axe.

We are using evidence that proves this axe is irrefutably broken and crushes 95% of the entire game's weaponry system and crafting system. Not emotions.

It only has "0" effect on you if you don't trade at all and do not party with any other players; i.e. you are not playing as the game was designed to be played.

As stated earlier in this thread, -The Developers- designed this axe and put it in the game. They are content with leaving it in the game. This thread is an attempt to convince them otherwise. To say they are on your side is complete fallacy.

Really? The game is not designed to be played solo? It's incredible that I am able to do so. This axe has no affect on you if someone you are partying with has it. Other than to make you jealous. Trade? An Item of which there are maybe 100 destroys trade? I think not.

Err, either you are trolling or you don't know what "affect" means. If a person buys a weapon that allows him to deal more dps and then that person parties with you, then you are together able to clear the instance and reach higher exp/hour ratio compared to the case where he would have partied you without that weapon. If making you get higher exp/hour ratio isn't affecting you, then yeah, you are trolling.

Crit Dagger build = 116K.

If you are 1 shotting a monster, it doesn't matter if you do 20K or 2,000,000K. One shot is one shot.

They stated they had a problem with Lioneye glare, and hence the changes to reflect 2 patches ago.


I'm done here. You guys can QQ over Soultaker to your heart's content, but for now, and for the upcoming patch, it's staying in the game. I'll just sit back and listen to the gnashing of teeth and lamentations of the weak and jealous.
