[3.8]Champion Impale TS/Barrage | Leveling guide

How do you guys like the playstyle of this compared to other bow builds?
I'm considering changing my lvl 93 slayer into this build, as I think I've reached my limit with cyclone this league. |

" It's tankier when you compare it to other builds. You may feel like you're dealing less damage since we're not shattering mobs. You also rely on close range when it comes to single target. Overall it's still fast, more tanky but the feeling isn't as good as elemental TS builds. //Edit: This is an opinion, other people may like this build better. Has anyone tried the build with slayer ? wondering if the damage will fall of a lot.

" Since Tornado Shot already deals a lot of dmg for clearing, you won`t really notice any difference between Slayer and Champion. Where I think there might be a bigger gap is on single target dmg. Being a Champion, your Impale hits already last 2 additional hits (Ascendancy) and this should deal a lot more dmg when facing bosses. " I switched from Cyclone to this Build last League - best decision ever :) Also tried Ice Shot this League, but it`s not as fun as TS so I switched again and I`m loving it. You can clear maps very fast, maybe eben one of the fastest builds for clearing. Depending on your gear, let's say 15ex worth of gear, you can kill bosses in about 2-4 seconds on any map. This build is just nuts :D |

Aight. I'm sold :D
Gonna pump what currency I have into it, and spec it out today. All in all, I think I have about 25ex if I sell my cyclone gear. Got lucky and 6 linked a starforge early and have some nice crit rings with phys damage, life, all resists etc. will update later once I've bought everything. |

For mapping we run sand stance and switch for blood for bosses right ?

Well, this was fun. Killed my first Uber Elder of the league today, died a couple of times. Build feels wery strong for both clearing and bossing and got some tankyness on top.

At what point do you guys start using all the aura's i am level 72 now but if i use pride as well i don't have enough mana to hit twice with TS, my gear is still pretty damn budget since i league started as a miner and the play style didn't really do it for me i went into this build.

https://pastebin.com/HNUhKe7K This is my current gear, setup etc. I'm able to fly through t16 maps with ease. 1 shot everything. Just nukes the entire screen. Then barrage nukes the bosses pretty quick. Wondering if someone can gear check me, and suggest a possible next upgrade? I've about 4-5ex left. -- I'm also considering using a second bow for barrage, and swapping out when required. Any suggestions on another 6 link or something else outside of the box that would work here? |
