Neah, both my main 97 dual wielding RT single target namelocking melee and my 93 crit Hegemony's Era Juggernauts are doing fine so I must play this game wrong...

And if I didn't missed the memo, RT one handers still are @#*^ tier regarding damage output compared to everything else, especially if you actually count that I didn't spec into any kind of elemental penetration with a goddamn 100% elemental conversion on my main boss killer skill...

And I still managed to squeeze a "small" 247% increased life on that build...

If I have some more time, I'll further reset my other Jugger and my Champion, but I think that at least my builds will feel decent enough...

Oh, my top damage output suffices for at most 9 seconds, the rest of the time I have to manage with the smaller part where I mostly rely on anywhere between 100K and 200K versus bosses...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...

Early mapping is sure fun! Hey let's do this blue grotto map, oh look the chaos golem boss out of nowhere bursting 2k+ hp instantly from offscreen with chaos sunder and rain. That's sure fair to ES builds! Now to kite it around the map for like 6 minutes slowly offscreening and instantly running out of the chaos rains before the next tick kills you, retrating to replenish pots on mobs left alive and coming back. Get some blues and one worthless rare for all your efforts and wasted time.

Oh look it's villa map and this overtuned trapper boss just got buffed by shaper, time to spend 10 minutes offscreening it.

Note that this is on a ranged build with golem, I dread to imagine how anything melee would deal with this bullshit.

There hasn't been any balancing done to all the overtuned low and mid tier bosses and now they have insane HP because why not.

How meele does it:
A) caped block/spell block
B) stun
C) sustain from hell

Any combination of the above.
or just get some chaos res and/or flask. chaos golem is one of the easiest bosses because it is balanced around -60% and you can easily get -10% - 10% easily

and then just move out from the chaos storm and dps him down..
Sure thing, a few seconds of breathing room to throw a couple of spells and then the flask is empty, should come with 4 maybe? Chaos damage is in general bullshit.

Well if you can't be bothered, be prepared to deal with the boss.

Those people you keep citing that are one shotting bosses? Oh no, they might skip the bosses instead while farming since bosses aren't very rewarding to begin with. Wow making the bosses less fun to fight was sure justified there. THAT is the big picture, these top builds you are hinging as your argument in support of GGG's decision are completely unaffected. It just adds pointless time wasting to the game.

And I already acknowledged bosses that aren't just face tanking, it's just that you are horribly missing the point and aren't understanding that the few bosses that are better designed than others alone do not justify this sweeping HP change.
No, you are horribly missing the point.
if bosses cant survive long enough, they cant be a threat.
Now they can be, and many do have interesting mechanics, for basically all.
And YES, obviously, they still won't all be super scary, for obvious reasons.


You are not fooling anybody with "they are less fun to play" you only want the carrot at the end.


The rivers after people realize that there are a bit less fast-food like easy and quick carrots ....

How are they challenging if people just skip them if peoples builds are not capable of doing them? If you have a tier 1 build, you still delete the boss within seconds as usual. If not, you are literally skipping the boss.


Barrage, golems, brutus lead sprinkler, and a few other top tier builds basically still crush the game and crush most bosses in record time. Everyone else now heavily struggles and just ends up ignoring bosses, because by the time you kill the boss, you could be almost halfway done with another map.
