OH OH! I've hit the PoE endgame XP grind mountain and everything is boring

So you just wanted to plug your Tier60 suggestion/feedback thread, cool. Didn't need to bother with 2000 words of text for that

End game consist of less than 20% of the content. The journey is the other 80% that people don't go back to after they finish it. If people can be content with 20% content, why add more? Add 5~10% content every few months and you have your typical MMO.

Why do you care about End Game when you aren't even having fun? I like game developing sideway instead of bottom-up, like sandbox games. The fun start at the beginning. Doing whatever you want, no obsolescence.

If this is true (exact % isn't important) then what GGG did last year to make playing easier for new players is a puzzler. Making Normal and Cruel easier for new exiles (babes on Wraeclast island) is allowing veterans to rush through so we are spending 20% of time in the main game content (3 times through but skipping Merc Belly of The Beast) and spending 80% of time on maps.

The endgame xp grind needs a big infusion of "fun-to-play" elements meaning more to do than just grind, grind, grind at that grindstone of maps only (apologies to Mary Poppins). Other ways to grind xp are needed soon/yesterday. If GGG can't/won't do that (it's maps forever or bust) give me freedom to run T1 maps at T10 difficulty and xp.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Did you know? You can ignore forum threads if you don't like them! It's similar to your recommendation to players who don't like certain aspects of POE ("don't play it").

He is right and you are wrong. So what's your problem? Is it him not giving up?
Leveling is 10x faster than in beta/open beta and yet people complain :(
While playing both poe and d3, i like the nobrainer d3 endless endgame more them the poe way.

One is endless endgame, the other is endless reroll or quit the stupid game until next temporary league.

It's pretty obvious.
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

Welcome to PoE.
So you want to reach some arbitrary goal (lvl 100) that the game never expected from you?

Why do you even want to reach lvl 100, when all it does is make your char a wee bit stronger, thus the content you already can access easier.

100% agree with deathflower and Zen1337own on this
, if the journey is no fun and the goal has no meaning, why go that way...

(I'm not arguing for or against mapping beeing expanded upon, didn't live that far yet, but currently having fun trying to live as long as possible using my own builds ^^)
I ROFL at OP...

Complaining because he can't reach 100 :)

While he's whinging about trying to get to 100 I can make 7 other characters, level them to end game and enjoy all the beauty this game has to offer.
Leveling is fun, but there is still a problem, if a boring Endgame concept is forcing you to do that over and over again.
You have a lot of emphasis on level 100 for no reason. The endgame of PoE is all about minmaxing. Sure the 8 skill points from the last 8 levels help a bit (92 is the EXP halfway mark) but minmaxing gear will take longer and require more effort for a much larger effect. Once you get to a certain point it's just grinding for small increases, exp or item.

Anyways there was no endgame before. It was just minamxing and farming so you can farm more. Ascendancy actually brings something to do with your minmaxed character which is the daily leaderboards for labyrinth clears. Also hopefully we'll have a high map version of the labyrinth like T16 or something with its own leaderboard so the truly maxed characters can compete.
