OH OH! I've hit the PoE endgame XP grind mountain and everything is boring

Endgame needs alternatives to mapping, not replacements, very right analysis.

If this is true (exact % isn't important) then what GGG did last year to make playing easier for new players is a puzzler. Making Normal and Cruel easier for new exiles (babes on Wraeclast island) is allowing veterans to rush through so we are spending 20% of time in the main game content (3 times through but skipping Merc Belly of The Beast) and spending 80% of time on maps.

The endgame xp grind needs a big infusion of "fun-to-play" elements meaning more to do than just grind, grind, grind at that grindstone of maps only (apologies to Mary Poppins). Other ways to grind xp are needed soon/yesterday. If GGG can't/won't do that (it's maps forever or bust) give me freedom to run T1 maps at T10 difficulty and xp.

I think veterans skip content anyway. They reach End Game in a few days, it hardly affect them.

Well you can add more variety but it will still be grind, grind, grind.
I just want to reach level 100 to delete my character and say "Fuck you GGG, I succeeded even though you tried to stop me"... That shall be heartwarming :)

It is a known fact (to all who have played PoE any significant amount of time) that veterans rush through to maps and skip all side areas that don't give a passive point reward. Now with act IV we all skip Merc Belly of The Beast for that same reason. I assume GGG knows this fact and should lift the passive points cap to 126: 1 point for Normal, 2 for Cruel, and 3 for Merc Malachai kill to incentivize playing Belly of the Beast. Unfortunately, GGG doesn't seem to care to go back and fix things like this (unless it is a game breaking bug or balance problem).

Thoughts of "I'm going to beat you at your own game GGG" or "I'm mad as hell and not going to let the Wookie win" (GGG will not force me out of a level 100 build even if my time limited playing means it'll take a few years) are strong motivators to press on and grind 100s more hours on a build. That may be exactly what GGG wants us to do. Unfortunately (for me at least), that kind of negative reinforcement as a motivation to keep grinding a build toward 100 does not make me want to buy any mtx at all. Sorry GGG, but you are biting the hand that feeds you with your attemps to slow racers from level 100 builds in a month and hurting (punishing) the rest of us in the process.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Absolutely everything you said is true in my case.
Marauder, level 95 in standard. I have not completed merciless Act 4 and I have not the slightest intention to complete that because it's just a BIG waste of time. If a relatively casual as player (like me) is posed reach level 100, along the way will only acquire some resentment against GGG. At this point would never pass through my mind spend a penny in this game due to the above. A labyrinth and a few extra little things will not modify at all my apathy towards GGG.

The only thing that would represent a real change is the reform of the Map system. But no to make everything easier, but rather less boring.

Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?
So you would play thousands of hours no their game for an arbitrary goal that is rather hard to achieve and then state that hard to reach goal as a reason why you will not pay for playing said game thousands of hours thus not helping them improve endgame.

TL:DR:
- u loathe GGG because u can't reach your self-set crazy goals easily
- u play their game regardless but don't support game-improvement with moneyz

wow, nice logic i guess

100% this.

I was so disappointing when GGG make only 123 points... its just dumb and wrong. Worst change and worst act add nothing at all. Very bad act.

Anyways there was no endgame before. It was just minamxing and farming so you can farm more. Ascendancy actually brings something to do with your minmaxed character which is the daily leaderboards for labyrinth clears. Also hopefully we'll have a high map version of the labyrinth like T16 or something with its own leaderboard so the truly maxed characters can compete.

IF the labyrinth is only lvl68 like in alpha make a leaderboard with that is a big big joke...

And by the way, what improvements to the game?... The game is actually run maps (for people who are not interested in events). Where are the improvements to Maps system?
Please, don't talk about game-improvements, thank you...
