But you can be leveling a bunch of spares in your alternate weapon slot while using your regular gems in your regular slots. They still gain the same xp even when you aren't using that weapon.

it takes a LONG time to level a gem to 20

6 OS on alt set... grinding time to level 1 gem to lvl20/6... thats the difference..

also if you have spare OS on your current gear this time will improve even further

In hindsight, I should have realized there was a vendor recipe for 20% quality gem... I felt it was a bit too common to see people in tradechat sell 20% quality gem, considering I'm not even sure if a gem can drop with that quality, and why would you use gcp's on a gem you were trading anyways, even if it was like 18-19%

I like this recipe though, maybe players like me who aren't no-lifer's can manage to get 20% quality gems too :) (although I suspect I don't have any level 20 gems)

see you in a few weeks or a month depending on how much you play

its not like people can make level 20 gems in a day

well depends how much they play... some say they can lvl to lvl17-18 in one day

so if hey have 6 gems... lets say it takes them 6 days to get all of them to 20... that's one lvl20/day

if they play 70+ hours a week they are gonna be rich anyway
this isnt gonna suddenly sink the economy
if anything all the non 70+ hour a week players should be happy now you can more readily acquire level 20 gems for a cheaper price
so the top 5% of the player base wont be the only ones with 20% gems

stop fraeking out!

This makes me wonder if there are more 'hidden' vendor recipes out there..
