Secret recipe revealed
" Your rebuttle lacks a lot of defense. Specifically that "the few" who knew about it when it was advantageous, are bots. That's a really bold statement. And yes, of course, I would rather start with level 1 20% frenzy, but if I find a 15% throughout my travels, it would be a lot less hassle just to spend 5 GCP and get what I wanted instantly. Seriously, I'm not trying to insult you, there's just a lot of holes in your argument. Edit: You claim a 19.3% non-quality is now worth as much as level one 13-18% gem. In practice, this is almost never true. Time = value. Dernière édition par Fenyx_187#3959, le 22 juil. 2013 à 17:42:49

Sometimes people confuse me.If you have, let's say,+Q13 18-20 lvl gem, common sense will make you use GCPs on it.Especially slow leveling gems(FP,EK,chain,etc.).Anything else is plain stupid.
I don't understand. This is a buff © 2016 The Experts ™ 2017 Dernière édition par torturo#7228, le 22 juil. 2013 à 18:03:43

The only reason the economy is gonna change is because people are gonna panic sell all their GCPs.

" I didnt say the few were bots. I said, those who knew AND had the time (and bots have all the time in the world) made quite a fortune. they made on average 6-10 gcp per gem. " in practice a 20% lvl 1 gem is much better than a 14% lvl 1 gem I agree, time is money, but in case of a 19.3% non-quality gem you're much closer to the goal. now if gcps fall to chaos prices, then yeah, itd be cheaper to just gcp the gem to 20% quality, but I doubt that will happen |

Learned about this recipe a month or two ago myself, made about 50 Exalts off of it up to now. People quitting for Anarchy was a godsend for the lvl 20 gem market, its why the Standard market is so flooded at the moment.
I know people with 50-80 gems backlogged to sell. One person I know has two full stash tabs of 20q gems. Pretty suprising this anonymous guy chose to reveal the recipe rather than make bank, unless this is GGG's anonymous "you guys should know about this now I guess...". " that much is true, but long-term (say by release in october) almost all of those gems will be turned into 20/20% gems one way or the other. so long-term GCP value will mostly rely on upgrading existing high level gems into lvl 1 20% gems and its inherent rarity. this is obviously true for SC/anarchy moreso than hardcore/onslaught because there is no sink |
|
" at the melbourne meeting Chris basically told the guys that result of a recipe is a lvl 1 20% quality gem. after that it shouldnt have been hard to figure out |

" Read your post and argument, and it is a complete and utter failure. In Hardcore type leagues, this should have no effect, as characters reaching the point where they actually have lvl 20 gems will want to save those incase they die, not spend valuable time re-leveling them. This mostly has an impact on Softcore type leagues, where your gems/gear are worth investing in for more survivability over not, since you will not lose them (and their investments) if you die.
