End game is not where it ought to be, simple as that.
Some people will try to tell you it's normal to have a huge player dropoff - and true, that has been the case (though the player retention as a percent of peak seasonal players, is much worse for POE 2 than for Poe 1). It has been the case, but it doesn't need to continue being that way. They have a great opportunity available for growth and better player retention, if they don't squander it. |

A few problems. End game being a really big one but so is trade site. Not sure how much longer I can hold on waiting to hear if anything is getting changed. I have never returned to a game before that I have quit on bad terms and this won't be an exception.

" They aren't even addressing the concerns that forums bring. It's like they stopped reading or caring what the community is asking for. This is not the same GGG. POE 2 has the potential to be amazing, but it is so incredibly far away from that point. |

" They havent responded or cared for / to the forums, in a decade. lol, GL. GGG - Why you no?

" to be simple - absolutely 0 endgame content. the league stagnating already for 3 months without any fresh content, people tired to kill t4 pinnacle bosses for 1000 time. No crafting system, huge disbalance with skills, 0 room for build ideas because only lightning damage exist. Trade is dead, people was online more than 1 month. People waited new classes and new skills, but only what we will get in 0.2.0 another yet useless ascendancy, more useless uniques and few support gems, but GGG telling since december that they almost complete 2 new classes. Moreover perfomance and server issues, crashes, disconnects and boredoom trade mechanic with site. Dernière édition par ShaDarkLord#6528, le 10 mars 2025 13:06:23

Why are people ever surprised? ITS EARLY ACCESS. Everyone with a brain was aware that:
-Content would take a long time to be completed. -End game was not done and just thrown together. Which means most normal people did the following: Bought the game, played with it for a while, and said "alright, this is good for now, I'll check this out again when its complete". The fact that all the addiction-seekers can't understand this normal gamer behavior over an incomplete game is hilarious to me. And we're not even taking into consideration that a lot of people (again, the majority of gamers, unlike the vocal minority in ARPG forums) don't grind endgames at all (because they have a life or other games to play), so a player drop from initial numbers is always going to happen. I swear, peering into ARPG communities is funny, its like peeking at drug addicts who have a broken view of the world. |

" Stop acting like its only an arpg issue. Its an every game ever, every forum ever issue. And even then, its only an 'issue' if you are petty enough to let is be an 'issue'. Thats all. GGG - Why you no? Dernière édition par JoannaDark#6252, le 10 mars 2025 13:15:20

" No ones asking for them to respond. I'm asking for them to literally read it, and address some items the community asks for. |

" I think your confused. None of this is normal. Its not even remotely normal for people to come back for updates. This is a behaviour that the few gamers in this genre have gotten used to. Normal people finish a game then it's finished thats it. I have never returned to a game months after playing it, especially if leaving unhappy with it. I think this view of what's normal is a very niche idea that not many gamers share. If your even remotely correct then we should see 100% of the original player base still here by, let's say season 3. Most people don't think like you and it's not normal. |
