Devs don't read this and it's your fault

I'm just gonna say it. 90% of the posts here lack all nuance at the moment of portraying a problem or an issue.

Whether it's from people crying that their glass cannon build can't do X mechanic and thus said mechanic must be nerfed..

Or people saying XP penalty is too much and don't even know what an Omen of Amelioration is (or worse, thinking it's something u buy from the store for real money when u bring it to the table, true story)

Or complaining about X item being too good when it's actually gimp for endgame build (IE: polcirkeln)

Devs are just not reading this at all, I've scoured the forums for threads with GGG answers and they're as rare as a Mirror of Kalandra.

People come here to cry, not to give actual feedback. And when they do try to give feedback, the lack of knowledge and/or misintrepretation of the devs vision on the game's aspects even when they've explicitly stated, is just astonishingly profound.

There is absolutely no useful information for the devs here.

We depend on the content creators to properly assess the game's problems, cause this here is a clownfest.

there i said it. You can proceed to @ me

So, uh, what's your feedback about the game for the devs, lol.

Or you just ranting
Im sure if a post has feedback it might get read.
If it is pure rant ... sometimes
These forums have been a showcase for dramatic emotional venting for years; That said, it also contains valuable feedback. Basically, only the scale has changed...(Much) larger player base = (many) more forum posts.

The mod(s)/dev(s) responsible for sifting the content is/are likely thick-skinned enough to scan threads and glean at least some useful information without missing too much of value...though the company is admittedly hard-pressed to keep up with things right now.

This.

I had some feedback (unique feedback nowhere else found) that made it in the patch notes. While I obviously don't know if they read my feedback and changed it because of it or if they found and solved the problem themselves, they not only listen to "sTrEaMeRs".
There may not be much valuable feedback on this forum, but the train wrecks are undeniably entertaining.

GGG, in fact, moderates the forum.

GGG devs team and GGG forums moderators are two different entities and don't really (need to) communicate with each other.

They are different and they don't need to communicate everything, but from Jonathan's and Mark's response to things you can see that some of the feedback gets passed to them, well, obviously not the rants with no actual feedback in them.

this is what most people fail to understand, they arnt reading every single post and never will. however our feedback is still making it to the devs even if its just being simplified.

which is why people need to keep leaving feedback even if every word in every post isnt read. that said it would be nice if people could be more constructive, but on the other hand there are a few trolls in every post being dismissive regardless, trying their best to rile people up cause they cant handle others opinions(which i feel is the bigger issue).

Everyone here is entitled for an opinion, this is where community forum comes in and just respect other player's thought.

This forum is full of people with strange arrogance. They think they understand the game mechanics, and there is no reason to raise the problems others complain about as long as they think they are not problems.

They are not developers, but they think they are qualified to judge whether other people's complaints and feedback are useful, and they think they are very objective.

Just like a man does not need to use the women's toilet, so they think it is not a problem for women in the company to complain that the company does not have a women's toilet. These women are too hypocritical. They think that this company exists to complete work, not to set up women's toilets.

Feedback is when players point out what they think is unreasonable and find bugs based on their own judgment when playing the game.

Bugs will also be subjectively judged as benign or malignant bugs depending on the situation.

My character's HP is 1, and when the shield is low, it should be prompted, but it is not, because my character's HP is 1, even if the shield is almost gone, it is still 100% of the "healthy state". This problem will change according to the player's preferences.

If I don't like the red screen prompt effect when the health value is low, then I will think it is a good thing and no need to modify it, but if I need the red screen prompt, then this is a defect for me, which means that I don't like this situation and I think it is a bug in the design.

All of the above will change the judgment according to the player's subjective preferences. If I think this problem needs to be improved and come here to give feedback, it means that I don't like this design.

So there is no such thing as useful or useless. As long as players feel that something is unreasonable, they can give feedback and complain about these problems.

There's a line that must be drawn at ignorance of the specific points the Devs have already addressed or just blatant ignorance of the already existing mechanics.

When the "feedback" is just instantly countered by an already functional mechanic or is just plain wrong and it's easy to tell the hypothetical OP just needs to learn the game better, it's value as feedback is effectively zero.

If I had made millions from a bunch of simps, I'd also laugh and not respond.

They can't and won't do anything about it at all.

What are people gonna do? Uninstall the game? XD

LMFAO!!
I think this forum lacks an upvote feature for good feedback. People don't reply when they agree, maybe in 1% of cases, so mostly threads with controversial topics stay hot and they are often derailed.

I also agree that 90% of posts are useless, flawed "arguments" get repeated ad nauseam.
