Devs don't read this and it's your fault

I'm just gonna say it. 90% of the posts here lack all nuance at the moment of portraying a problem or an issue.

Whether it's from people crying that their glass cannon build can't do X mechanic and thus said mechanic must be nerfed..

Or people saying XP penalty is too much and don't even know what an Omen of Amelioration is (or worse, thinking it's something u buy from the store for real money when u bring it to the table, true story)

Or complaining about X item being too good when it's actually gimp for endgame build (IE: polcirkeln)



Devs are just not reading this at all, I've scoured the forums for threads with GGG answers and they're as rare as a Mirror of Kalandra.


People come here to cry, not to give actual feedback. And when they do try to give feedback, the lack of knowledge and/or misintrepretation of the devs vision on the game's aspects even when they've explicitly stated, is just astonishingly profound.

There is absolutely no useful information for the devs here.

We depend on the content creators to properly assess the game's problems, cause this here is a clownfest.

GGG, in fact, moderates the forum. The difference is that it is up to the users what they post on the forum and if it is not against the "Code of Conduct" or in the wrong section (off-topic) they don't intervene.

They read feedback if it is actual feedback and not another "PoE Bad rant", but they don't respond 99.9% of the time anyway.

They just moderate language with automation. Actually going through this amount of threads is nigh impossible

Don't be fooled.

This forum is full of people with strange arrogance. They think they understand the game mechanics, and there is no reason to raise the problems others complain about as long as they think they are not problems.

They are not developers, but they think they are qualified to judge whether other people's complaints and feedback are useful, and they think they are very objective.

Just like a man does not need to use the women's toilet, so they think it is not a problem for women in the company to complain that the company does not have a women's toilet. These women are too hypocritical. They think that this company exists to complete work, not to set up women's toilets.

Feedback is when players point out what they think is unreasonable and find bugs based on their own judgment when playing the game.

Bugs will also be subjectively judged as benign or malignant bugs depending on the situation.

My character's HP is 1, and when the shield is low, it should be prompted, but it is not, because my character's HP is 1, even if the shield is almost gone, it is still 100% of the "healthy state". This problem will change according to the player's preferences.

If I don't like the red screen prompt effect when the health value is low, then I will think it is a good thing and no need to modify it, but if I need the red screen prompt, then this is a defect for me, which means that I don't like this situation and I think it is a bug in the design.

All of the above will change the judgment according to the player's subjective preferences. If I think this problem needs to be improved and come here to give feedback, it means that I don't like this design.

So there is no such thing as useful or useless. As long as players feel that something is unreasonable, they can give feedback and complain about these problems.

They are different and they don't need to communicate everything, but from Jonathan's and Mark's response to things you can see that some of the feedback gets passed to them, well, obviously not the rants with no actual feedback in them.

It's mostly just a place for people to vent their frustrations. It's probably not the best place for ACTUAL feedback but it serves a purpose

They never planned to read anything here. This place was for all the plebs to feel like they had a voice.

They only listen to streamers.
