Power creep CREATES imbalance, it is a source of imbalance.
The problem here is that even though you have a ton of power at your disposal, you still are not capable of building a balanced character and ended up dying to the syndicate.

I am a very casual poe trader. that stuff you are listing comes from several seasons and I just traded most of it from poe.trade for chaos orbs or sometimes exalteds. nothing special.

How did you drop them? No casual drop exalts.

Did you trade currency for exalts? That s pretty nerdy and time consuming considering a SC temp exalt is about 170 chaos at it s peak.

This game used to be harder you know. People who supported this game and made it grow to what it is today did it on the basis this game would be the ultimate hardcore arpg. Why would they not complain when the game become so broken because of MORE MORE MORE power creep each leagues?

Power creep is real, it destroyed this game identity. They don t even talk about hardcore arpg anymore. Soon they might not even call it an arpg.

I really don't remember having said anything about "multimod red maps" like ever, but if you can find it, feel free to prove me wrong.

There is nothing wrong with a big majority of the playerbase reaching red maps by the way, and there is no problem playing casually and being fine just experiencing the story, like most other games have a story and an end.
PoE just gives the possibility to keep playing after that sort of, and is its main selling point for many.

I don't see a problem with that, and I don't think that one playstyle is better than the other.
Neither would I try to judge and be a dick about other people choosing to spend 10 hours on a game fora reason that I ignore, because it's not my problem, and they can do whatever they want, I don't mind, I don't care.


You are the only one who is apparently having some kind of complex here and is resorting to being condescending and stuff, and that itself just speaks volumes.

Anyone who reaches red maps is affected by the game being too easy, not just us “nerds.”

Wanting a game that’s reasonably challenging, well balanced, and interesting even through the postgame is not some divisive casuals vs elites issue. This isn’t really about number of hours played, either. It’s just about PoE being fun.

And feeling forced into a recklessly careening meta that also trivializes the game isn’t fun. Nor is watching the game break its own rules with new overpowered content. This is just leading to chaos and “I win” buttons which devalue any accomplishment.

Back in 2014, I actually used to think PoE was too hard and excluded a lot of players/builds from endgame content. Boy have things changed (except excluding what should otherwise be rational builds; that’s still going strong).

Another League, more power creep and nerfs to things that nobody asked for. I have personally deemed this game dead for good for a while now. There is no way that the game will have a healthy progression system anymore. The only way to entertain yourself in PoE now is to laugh at the stupidity of the developers and spectate how addicts keep eating shit up while making excuses why they still play it.

This game is basically Warframe 2.0 now with your only excuse for playing or making yourself stronger is - O den i am strongar and bigger numbar bettar. Except even in Warframe, you CAN BE CHALLENGED if you want because they have scaling mobs. This game has Delve which has it's CHALLENGE locked behind legitimately hundreds of hours of focusing only on Sulphite just to get somewhere near the level of needing to upgrade your act 10 gear.

All in all, the game is shit and it won't get better because this game is being designed by robots in the excel tab, not by human designers with a vision to entertain or challenge players.
Even your main developers have no clue about the game anymore for a long time already. They just pop up with a script once the league is about to start and answer dumb meme questions by autistic streamers.
