Sometimes Atlas bosses can be too strong.

To be fair, the game difficulty is basically exponential, and tricks you into thinking your defences and life are progressing fine.
Then you get to Merciless and it smacks you with a big LOLNOPE!
I'm hoping 3.0 addresses this.

Over the years though with changes and players in general becoming more adept, this isn't much of an issue even cruel to merciless. However they don't make it clear that malachai in merc is a much more difficult fight than a vast majority of earlier maps. I've literally seen new players get to crystal veins, I tell them to just map for a while and they go "I'm already lvl75 I'll be fine!" and see them when I next get one going "yeah, that was a stupid idea..."
