Sometimes Atlas bosses can be too strong.
" Yes, that is correct, I am not interested in buying or trading anything, nor will I be interested. Three years and over 800 and you say the game is not for me? LOL. I can respect your opinion. However, I enjoy the game enough to buy supporter packs. This is what Diablo II and Diablo III should have been. Around the time the league ends my character usually get stalled where I can not make any more forward progress. So, I just start a new character with a new build I have not used yet. This is my first experience with the Atlas, and to be honest I am disappointed. I am happy to say I did not buy a supporter pack when the Atlas was released, or else I would feel ripped off. " Not really. I pick up every currency that drops. I pick up just about every rare item I find. Almost saved enough from the start of legacy league to link a 5 socket item. " Start doing that as soon as possible. There is a huge difference between a loot filter and no loot filter. Vendor recipes are also mandatory if you want to not rely on trade. Leveling masters pays off big time once you hit level 6 and you can grab currency obrs at preferential prices each day... If it took you and your girlfriend both up till level 82 to farm 150 fus something is very wrong with you. Sunder would get a great boost from a Melee Phys instead of the Fortify, even in the same 4L setup, and would make the difference between success or failure, just as a Concentrated Effect would boost your damage for a further 5L. Fortify should be linked to your mobility skill as that would make you rely on mobility too, just as a Curse on Hit and Elemental Weakness would improve your experience, but to do that, you have to push for more life... People are giving you advice on how to improve your experience, but you should also take your time a bit, and start playing a build on Standard Softcore to familiarise yourself with the Atlas, the progression through map tiers, how to efficiently farm etc. And when 3.0 hits, the new leveling progression will be a breath of fresh air, no matter where if you're playing league or Standard. It will be different, and hopefully very refreshing. You also have to adjust your expectations and browse the Wiki a lot, especially to familiarise yourself with the useful uniques that you might encounter next league. Just man up and learn how to get the most of your time, no matter what you're doing in game, and I now that it's tempting to pick damage nodes instead of life and defence oriented ones, but try and strike a balance by adjusting your build in a planner and compare versus your in game experience, so if you feel you're too squishy, add life and defence, or if you feel you take more time than comfortable to kill stuff on a 5L, just boost your damage via passives or items. It's not rocket science, and works great even with a trial by error focus. Take your time and try to get Ascendancies on your characters too, as those do make a huge difference in your power level... " grab currency obrs at preferential prices each day. What do you mean by that? Several of the masters are level 6. We have been collecting everything we find. Combined our currency and just now have 148 orbs of fusing. What do you suggest? For the 5th socket, I have a gem that has a chance to shock, and then grants a buff after killing a shocked enemy. I forget the name of the gem. that is the one I was thinking about using for the 5th gem. I changed out the fortify for a physical damage gem My steam - http://steamcommunity.com/id/old-school-player Dernière édition par Sahdrak#5724, le 4 juin 2017 à 17:02:31

There are multiple things you can do to mitigate the "slow down" of no trading then.
Like suggested. Loot filter ASAP as well as learning vendor recipes. I am assuming between the two of you you have at least an additional stash tab bundle. If you want to play "solo" self found, stash tabs become a lot more "necessary" to make decent headway to at least make room for chaos/regal recipe. Easy loot filter to use would be Neversink -https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1246208 And Vendor recipes for a minimum of chaos recipe - http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Vendor_recipe_system It would also do you good to check vendors every time you level for potential chromatic items, 6 sockets, very rare 6 link chance. Unfortunately, you are choosing to take the harder route of no trading. It will slow you down to hit those thresholds to make progress. But no, the maps are not too difficult, you are trying to push too hard too quick. Go back to dried lake, maybe even lower and start farming and saving up. If sticking to solo self found between the two of you, save up alts, augments etc., and then your best bet is to transmute, alteration, augment, and then regal rolling those key stats on the highest ilvl gear you can for those higher life rolls along with a decent resist then using your masters to craft additional resist/armour to finish off each piece to start your character off. Just because you are choosing ssf, does not mean the general rules of thumb are impossible or don't apply to you. You are going to need to get to that approximate 5k health and capped resists or maps will continue to screw you over day in and day out. Eventually you will get there. TheAnuhart is a perfect example of what years of ssf can do to you https://www.twitch.tv/videos/118921941. Your currency banks won't look as healthy as what I linked earlier, especially in temp leagues. But TheAnuhart has multiple T1 uniques, plenty of 6links, etc. While never once trading, accepting anything from any other players, or even partying up once as far as I know. Note, Anu's number of tabs is probably excessive since they do much more time consuming recipes that Anu admits their playstyle is nowehere near "efficient." "It's all clearer now

" " http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Master You have there a table that actually specifies the currency that the master sells, and those are with a 20% discount every day, compared to your regular vendor (like Clarissa in Sarn) price. You don't even have to finish the daily mission, you get the daily currency deal even after abandoning the mission... For 1H played every day, I manage to do daily the Vorici fusings recipe, and stack currency even if I don't feel like investing more than Transmutation + Augmentation in maps up to Red tier. Heck, I could probably be fine up to tier 12-13 with only using those and never run out of maps... So learn to use everything to your advantage. Oh, and I'm a hoarder that plays slowly melee mostly, yet I still find the time to buy instead of sell items if I'm not playing SSF. To do so, you need time and a few more stash pages to boost your storage space and do as many vendor recipes as you deem worthy... " So, do Vendors sell 6L? All of them or only Masters? "War's over, soldier. You just don't know it yet. Everybody lost."

" It does make sense, my bad then. If you want to become more efficient, you should stop picking everything that drops ( like every rare ) for a start : - pick only potential gear upgrade, if those are not, vendor them or use them for some vendor recipes - pick 6S items and vendor them - pick RGB linked items - pick all currency of course - pick small jewelry that does not take up much space in the inventory, it can almost always be an upgrade, and it's easy to vendor And look for life + elemental resistances on your gear ( and movement speed on the boots ). That should be your first priority. For the chest piece, if you cap your resistances already, try to aim for a life + higher armour or evasion chest. I like picking daggers peronally, because they often have +x level of socketed melee/elemental/chaos gem and that gives alchemy shards, + the rest. Then use Vorici (>lvl5) everyday to get 20 fusings for 64 jeweller's orbs ( compared to 80 for the normal vendor rates ). You will have many many more fusings quickly. I've burnt a little bit of fusings, and I stopped doing vorici dailies ( already 8 so I removed him to lvl up another master ) in SSF legacy, and ... " You are talking about Innervate. And don't, it would be really bad as a 5th link. Try to find a weapon mostly physical, that scales with the nodes you picked in the three, half of your weapon damage does not scale with the nodes you took. If you have a really slow attack speed weapon ( like now, 1.15 aps isn't it ? ), multistrike is going to root you in place for the duration of the three attacks and that is going to put you in danger, I would not take it with such a slow weapon ( but I don't like the gem too, so I'm not very objective I guess ). Try : - Sunder - Faster attacks - Concentrated effect / added fire damage - melee physical damage or weapon elemental damage ( with your weapon, you definitely need WED ). or, for a 5L : - Sunder - faster attacks - added fire damage - weapon elemental damage - concentrated effect " All vendors that can sell 6 sockets items ( lvl 50+ ) can potentially sell 6L items, the chance is very low, but it's there. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. Dernière édition par Fruz#6137, le 5 juin 2017 à 06:03:53

Think you meant to say vendors instead of masters there. Afaik regular vendors with the same item level on items can have that rare chance of a 6l.
