General Discussion - watching Streamers do the Hardcore one-month, made me realize something - Forum

Most players will naturally choose the path of least resistance, and if you're in hc you will usually guard your character with your life uhh so to speak, extending the time you can spend enjoying your character seems natural. I use a logout macro, if I was forced not to then I wouldn't. But it's an option available to me so I choose to use it. Not sure there's anything manly about an imminent death you know you can't avoid, sure you could rip and start again but that hardly seems fun. I would rather choose to use a logout and know better for next time instead of taking an extended round trip to depression vill. It's a game after all, I use the options available to me. If GGG enforced a logout timer then that would be something I would play by and have to deal with. Skipping bosses in HC is very much so playing the game. A large part of what makes the game fun to me is knowing what my character can and can't handle and trying to avoid the bad encounters. No wonder HC players are up themselves sometimes, they cant defend there own character. I think some people don't like altf4 because it's unimmersive. If instead of altf4 there was a button that instaportals you to town, a lot of people would probably shut up about it and see it as the game feature that it is :) GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence. John please clarify something for me. I have arc char that can run maps up to 75 easily (can even do 77s but slow) with almost any mod but it is totally helpless against Labyrinth boss, because damn thing heals faster that I damage it. So you say "don't skip anything", but then what am I supposed to do with boss in this map? Don't skip it too? What's the point? It cannot kill me (if I use IC properly) but I cannot kill it too. Not in a thousand years. And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
