I had quite enough of that shit, as a newbie in Open Beta.
wouldn't wish this kind of "gameplay experience" on my worst enemy.

I didn't mean a horde of mini vaals doing poor players all around the map. I meant proper increase of damage, according to the content, and probably slight decrease of monster's health.
That latter is a form of gear check as well anyway.
Don't expect them do miracles with monsters' AI, it's a lost cause.

Group play is trivial thats why u see all those ppl at front of a new league grouping. IMO Monster need to hit harder in group not just have more HP. Say 25-33% per mate.

Note that there already exists a form of "do more damage with higher player count" in the form of enemies that have AoE attacks and/or use Chaining.

The only problem is that those mechanics also punish solo summoners/totemers who share the "multiple targets" characteristic of a group of players, but are not a group of players.

I also remember Scrotie suggesting enemies not get higher damage (since that leads to more 1hit scenarios) but instead higher aspd/cspd/mspd (like the "of Fleet" map affix). That seems pretty decent.

No need to be butthurt, fact is, FFA kept people awake while farming in a party. And any form of PvP is more hardcore than brain-afk farming PvE content :)
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

You didn't earn your loot until you've actually picked it up, and as long as you haven't picked it up, it's not yours, so nobody "ninja'd" it :) Good old D2 style.

grabbing parties sucked so hard, everyone just stopped applying DPS, closed in just to be able to grab the loot. And hell, that wasnt D2 Style if you want it oldschool, it was D1 Style already.
Things improve .. luckily.

Also your permanent focus on the Ambush league, which is the only one containing strongboxes, is lightly .. out of focus. Also its pretty obvious you are constantly ignoring other good points and facts just to write some out of thin air arguments to make them look stupid.

How am I butthurt here? Why would I be? I'm a pure melee player.

Yes, FFA keeps players awake, and obviously a huge majority (99%+) of players would rather fall asleep than have FFA loot allocation.

Again with the hardcore argument, at least you put a smile on my face each time you make such a claim.
By the way, what's up with the PvP now? How the hell did that get here? To support your hardcore argument? Laugh.
I'm playing almost always solo and I don't feel the game is stacked against me. Maybe it is at lvls 90+, I don't play this part of the game (seems to me lvl 90+ is designed for hardcore gamers which I'm not anymore), but until that point, what's the problem ? Maps are now self sustainable easily until map level 72 or something (my current char is 81 on invasion, started with 0 maps and already has like 20 lvl 70 maps to do) which is high enough to xp till at least lvl 85. Higher lvl maps are not needed at all.
Can an organized party level faster than me ? I hope so, if not who would party at all ?
Only part of the game where I feel solo play is really way harder than party is act bosses during levelling, especially piety and dominus, and some invasion bosses, the ones who flicker most notably, for purely mechanical reasons (more targets to spread the deadly abilities = less risk to take consecutive hits..). This can easily be resolved by buying cruel bosses kill, even normal if you don't want to take risks, and avoiding deadly invasion bosses.

Overall, yeah organized parties do things a bit faster than solo play, as it should be, but nothing is really impossible or much much harder solo in the game. Actually, the most dangerous part of the game atm (atziri) is only done by solo/duos afaik. For the record, my current char reached lvl 80 with under 2d played with not that much of twink gear except a 4L searing touch. It's not remarkable but still means you can basically have a "finished char" in terms of skill points in a very short amount of time, even solo.
