Reduce Microtransactions costs

This is the problem as I see it:



$5 is minimum purchase. There are things priced cheaper than 5 bucks but one needs to spend $5 minimum. The pay for convenience item (Stash tab) is 30 points so $3. Reduce that to a dollar and allow a 10 point minimum. Throw in a few more effects for 10 points and away we go.

My only regret with the current mtx system is that you can only use it on one character, i have 26 atm so its get very dull to play one character while it looks awesome to play another.

You can say, hiy but you can reclaim the effect and just use it on the character you play?

Get back to me after you have 26 chars and around 20 mtx effect without a "reclaim all mtx" button.

I think it would allow a lot of freedom if every mtx could be used multiple times, it would fit the design that GGG promotes and i think it will only result in more purchases knowing that it would be available for all characters.

The positive experience of purchasing an mtx would increase, and so might the sales of the character slots eventually. Knowing you can create a new "theme" on your newly made character.

Just my opinion, it is the reason why i love my rhoa pets, i can activate them on all my chars, and i do, my other mtx's....meh i don't even bother looking for them anymore.

I agree with this. I've bought quite a lot of stuff but really when it comes down to it 20$ for a single item effect is absolutely crazy. Does not feel like value for money at all. This is equivalent of milking the users that really want certain micro transactions.

But you must look at both sides of equation. On other side we get great game for free. So expensive mtx can hardly be called "unethical"

I just want to expose them as economically ineffective.

Seriously, If mtx were cheaper, I would bought even more.

I do enjoy this game and I would like to support GGG more, but the microtransactions really are extremely overpriced. "Hmmm....6 new complete LoL skins, 3 meals at a local restaurant, or horns on my PoE helmet..."

Coming from a guy who has spent like 400 bucks on this game, I gotta say that the mtx effects are getting more and more expensive, it's really obvious when you look at all new effects that come out and compare them to the new ones that came out half a year ago.
I seems the new price point for mtx effects is close to 200 points... which is 20$^^

This kind of narrow narrow mindedness is both annoying and amusing. America is not only country in world you know. Standard is not same everywhere, 50 bucks for you might be pocket money but I can buy grocery goods for family of four for 3-4 days with it. And not all of us are kids, some actually have kids to feed.

He has precisely the correct attitude. It doesn't say "Click to donate here", it says "SHOP", it is a store and he is purchasing items.

Just because some people can't afford it doesn't mean they should reduce the prices. What kind of logic is that? They even have cheaper options for them.

For those who have mouths to feed, you are playing a video game for entertainment. You obviously have free time enough so you play poe instead of something more productive. So don't complain about it lol.




Path of exiles shop is nothing compared to the standard free to play cash shop. Before stomping your foot and blurting out the word unethical. Do some research, compare path of exiles prices to many other games then come back and look at how foolish a statement that was.

A lot of you have no idea how much it costs to keep a free to play game running like this with the only source of income coming from supporter packs and a bunch of fluff being cosmetic items. From what I've read many of you sound as if you've never played a free game before or understand their business models. It's astonishing really. The arguments I read on these forums. Wow.
