Even the best gaming rig can not run PoE at 120 fps min

Slap a titan X in there. Problem solved.

titan ex is not very good for the price you would want to get 2 of them in order to make up for the price in performance but then you would pay double

that would be even worse price to performance, you don't get double the performance with two graphics cards

yes butt hen u could higherclock them for 19% more efficiency of use of energy to make better speeds

mabe they could add option to lower efects

i don't think it should be an option. i think they should just limit effects. especially things like corpse explosions. you can shatter an entire group of like 40 mobs all at once. your computer locks up. hell just them dying will freeze stutter you (i think this is more network though).

but ya they should just limit the effects visible to us. i mean fuck, with so much shit going on it isn't like we'll notice that only 34 mobs exploded to our eye rather than 38 or something like that.

the amount of effects in this game is incredible. i've never seen anything like it. anything that comes close also has insane fps stuttering because of it. the amount of things to render means lower performance, it isn't rocket science.

dynamic resolution was a decent idea but i doubt anyone actually uses it. its too noticeable when it kicks in. i'd rather see less effects at my desired resolution than all of the effects in nintendo mode
GGG optimises its game by waiting.. It waits until tech hardware gets better and better..

2018 is not enough. We need to wait more..

We will need to wait until tech upgrades itself with 50 core cpus and nvidia 9000 titan xxx.. Only many years to wait.
I dislike rarity so much im almost quitting poe2. GGG.
#1. PoE is free to play, if you don't like optimization pay for a better game.

#2. It's clearly your system fault. GGG has "looked into it" several times and determined their game and servers are perfectly fine so it's not their fault. We all trust GGG.

Ok, being serious now. What's more suspicious is that it only happens with PoE and not other games and the same goes for the "unexpected disconnections".

I'm completely bum kicked over this. I bought a BRAND NEW MACHINE JUST FOR POE! It have 12 cores and shitloads of ram. When I first started it up all my problems were resolved. It ran perfectly.

Then Delve started. Well, I've gone back to standard completely given up on Delve, but the problems continue.

I can't play 15 minutes. I have all the problems I used to have with the old machine plus new ones now.

Why now does a disconnection force you to reboot. This is new and I will NOT spend hours trying all different settings which I've done. Lowering all the effects to the point it looks like a graphic mess doesn't seem to improve anything.

PLEASE FIX THE GAME GGG PLEASE!!!!!!
I'm not defending PoE's optimization here, but the hunt for 100+(+++) FPS belongs in a PvP (Shooter/MOBA) Game forums.

I think a lot of the FPS drop comes from the huge amount of calculation being done when there's a lot of mobs on the screen. The dices get rolled several thousand times each pack.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

No you hairy caveman.. Do you realise how many years gaming industry thinks 60fps/60Hz is the standard?

Its too old, and its very backwards design to be happy with 60fps or Hz.. Thank God monitor industry doesnt care about it, because of that you get new technology invented.

Try 144Hz monitor..rent...find someone who can show you gameplay in real on nice monitor and beast vga..

tl;dr we need to ask for that instead of defending old tech that should be forgotten long time ago.

Meanwhile I'm getting 5fps in delves, hopefully the computer I'm planning to buy will be able to run it at 60..
Meanwhile I play on i5 760 2.8GHz + GTX470.
60 fps at 1080p and its fine.

Imo problem is not with CPU or GPU, but with motherboard wires and chipset and speed of ram modules, cache, etc..

Lets assume CPU and GPU are capable to handle all those calculation to work on 120fps, but amount of data send from CPU to GPU is bigger than other hardware can handle to proceed (including graphic card - not GPU itself).

Until we get higher bandwidth and amount of data that can be proceeded at one moment, we will see those drops all time.
