Why Are Bows So Weak Now? (Phys build)

I would say that it is impossible. I can take advantage of everything a 'pure physical' build can while utilizing additional elemental damage on top of that with a hybrid build. Refusing to stack additional damage types is intentionally gimping yourself. You are going to get the best damage with a hybrid physical/elemental. You can build purely elemental, or purely physical but you will maximize dps with a hybrid. How does this not make sense?

EDIT didn't notice you want the same damage while ignoring crit as well... How exactly do you suggest they buff physical bow damage without buffing the hell out of good hybrid crit/ele/phys builds?

Don't ask me how they should balance things I'm not a game designer lol, but my feedback is that I would like a pure physical based on stun since a few physical bow passives have stun on them.

I don't care if I'm gimping myself like I said in my other post. I also don't really care too much if other people have more.dps, with a lioneyes glare I'd easily be at like 4k DPS on my aoe maybe switching out hatred for haste. Already doing 4.2 attacks per second

then what is the problem? You sill never do more damage than people that are stacking all damage sources when you only want to use one damage source? Seems that everything is working as intended.

I think it just needs to be a tad bit higher, but other builds like freezing pulse builds as far as I can tell stack just one damage type.

Oh also I do use added fire damage on my bear trap which works wonders with the quality bonus, same as hatred with bear trap

FP builds stack elemental damage / spell damage / crit. Your request is akin to requesting a FP build that stacks spell damage only be comparable in DPS to one that also stacks ele damage and crit. Not possible.

Oh yeah, well technically I'm trying to stack physical and attack speed with some stun in there since its on a few passives and the unique quiver.

My build might actually be really good with some 5l gear and some better end game bow than my current one.

can you post your bow for comparison?

I know with that lioneyes my DPS would be great but I can't afford one, only have about 1.5 exalt worth of currency
