Ok, wow, didn't mean for my post to devolve the discussion at all. Sorry about that.

The point of my post was that I would like to see the crafting a little less rng dependent. By this I mean a tightening up of the affix ranges a bit making them closer to the Ilvl of the item crafted and a little less split personality on some items (wands, daggers, maces and staves).

And don't get me started on the 5-links. Since I started playing in CB I have found two. That's right two 5-links total from drops/vendors and I crafted two as well. That's a total of four 5-links I have had access too since closed beta given my play style. I stopped planning builds around them a long time ago. Sure I still try for them, but never plan on needing them for my builds to work or to progress my characters.

But then again I notoriously have bad luck with drops in any game I play. So, I guess you could say after 20+ years of gaming I'm used to it.

About NotRegrets: I respect what he accomplished and its pretty great defeating Merciless with just blues. But, the fact he traded for what amounts to the best blues possible, period, diminishes that accomplishment greatly in MY opinion and is not indicative of what the vast majority of players are capable of. It is an outlier, not the norm.

It's almost the same meaning, although the "p" words sounds more aggressive, so I've changed it after I've found a nice gentle words that means the same - miserable.

It's not an insult or name calling, it's an adjective, and if you find it insulting, mind as well stop with it? :)
