Offensive Character Names...

And here i thought the game was 16-18+ (age), these immature names shouldn't be frowned upon as they are a good indicator that a player is either too young or just like to use offensive names.

The actual goal is to find a name that doesn't offend the other anonymous exiles who are playing this game, too. That family-and-friends-thing is just a simple strategy to achieve that if else you wouldn't be able to do it.

I wasn't assuming that. You came up with that whole reference topic.

If everyone's goal in creating character names is not to offend other people, then there will be very few name choices. Like I previously stated, what I find offensive you may not, what you find offensive I may not find offensive. There is no standard for what is universally offensive. When I see names like "IFightforTheGloryofGod", I am offended yet I don't report users who's names may offend me.

If you try to find a name that noone can possibly be offended by, that's true.
But if you just rule out the names that you already know will definitely offend a lot of people, you still got a decent variety left to chose from...

When I see names like "IFightforTheGloryofGod", I am offended yet I don't report users who's names may offend me.

I find that name offensive too but just like you. I find it annoying to read such names ingame but it doesn't bother me enough to report it.

Some people on the other hand are disturbed a lot more by offensive names. For them, it ruins the fun of playing the game.
Actually, that should be enough reason to not use offensive names, just out of common courtesy...

No. My main point is that it's illogical to ban rated R names in a rated R game. Please reread my posts. You're wrong on everything you have said. I've blatantly disproved everything you have said. You have still YET to show WHY IT'S WRONG to have any of the names that I have listed. You are continually dodging my question. Answer it, oh wait you can't. Because you know I'm right.

Just because there is graphic violence and/or gore, this doesn't mean profanity should be allowed. Those are two distinctly different things.

And I've already VERY CLEARLY pointed out that names without profanity are still disallowed. My character named CommitSuicide, which has no profanity, was not allowed. This was on page five.

I have said this already in the past. Please don't try to enter a conversation when you have no idea what is going on. I am not saying that names with profanity should be allowed. I am saying that there is simply too much moderation on names. Given the context of this game, a lot of names should be allowed, but simply aren't for absolutely no reason.
