General Discussion - Offensive Character Names... - Forum

It gives me the feeling of game for 21+ years old players with monsters with tits, pussies, dicks, players with nicknames like "Analwhore". You know, it creates a special atmosphere and other games look "soft" with their filters and censorship everywhere. Hope GGG will not follow the trend of adjustment games for 12+ after the release and we'll not loose naked statues, girls with tentacles etc. One thing that should be forbidden in nicknames is ofc racism and nationalism. What is so special about racism and nationalism? Is you want the game to be ok with "ana#whor#" then i don't see any good reason why other dirty shit shouldn't be allowed as well. Hope GGG will not allow not only racism and nationalism but also "ana#whor#". And hope they will punish ppl for that by disable access to the game for 1-2 days, so they will have some time to think and grow up. Because a name like "KillAllTheXXXXX" where XXXXX is a particular group of people is specifically offensive to that group of people, and shouldn't be acceptable even in adult company. Played GW2 for a short period of time with a character named HaveYouSeenMyBaseball and they made me change it. Was quite disappointed and quit playing shortly thereafter. More reasons than that, but it didn't help matters. On POE I have had that character name, MotherFucknSorcerer and many others that are borderline offensive. I appreciate a clever offensive name... some that are just over the top crude I don't care for though. Jizzesalloveryourface or Sucksallthedicks or something like that I have no problem GGG asking the player to change. In Wraeclast, if someone tries to kill you... you just kill them right back.
