Absolutely no problem with Krip at all. It's his viewers who really annoy me, especially when they go around the forum basing opinions on the game on how he plays it.

@Charan - should check out the general discussion board and the HC global chat lately. I used to love HC chat, it's far too gone now to even have it on. I'm sure those of us who have played HC for a while will agree.

I frequent BGD and GD the most, actually, and still haven't seen much of a change since the Advent of Kripparrianism.

As for HC chat, well, that's not 'part of the forum', so to speak, but I'm not surprised there. He plays HC, his fanbase would likely follow....even though I believe he leaves GC off all the time.

Point is, Kripparrian's involvement with PoE hasn't negatively affected the community to any great magnitude I feel.

Also, the girlfriend and I will be off to Gw2 in a few days, so it's not as if that's a Kripp-exclusive either! :)

That map is the one where your character goes through 4 levels and each level you are planted in the middle of a room with no exit.

In a normal situation I would TP out, but when I TP back in, I cannot buff up before engaging the monsters again. This is an issue because grace provides a huge portion of my physical defence.

That map was completely insane and I probably wouldnt have even done it if I knew I couldnt get out of a bad situation. I was getting 2 shotted by most of the mobs in there. There were also many cold damage ranged monsters that would freeze me on hit because of the resist debuffs.

PoE has many of its features from D2 and this seems to be one of them. I felt this feature was as much part of the game as any. I didnt think this really was as big a deal as some of you make it out to be...

Oh boy, now the thread's really going to go off...

I didn't know who this guy even was until I saw this thread posted here. I am really glad for the attention he is bringing for PoE but I can't stand to watch him.
The guy has zero charisma and his streams are ungodly boring.
Of course, I don't have to watch it, I am just glad it may bring more people to PoE.

I like krip because i think he's attracting loads of people to this game, which is what POE needs. Stop hating on someone whos doing POE a great service.

The elitism being expressed in this thread is more obnoxious than any Kripparian viewer could be.

And the alt+f4 thing, so what? You lose some HC man points, but enemies in the game cheat too. They use things like desync to rubberband you back into them and surround you. Players need some cheats too.
