Tried the game again in SSF... NOPE! I'll try again in 0.5 to make sure it still sucks!

I think you've missed my point, which is that you make the fight shorter by learning how to complete it more effectively and efficiently.

Out of curiousity, how long would you suggest the fight be?

Searched "final boss act 2" on youtube and there's a guy who just face tanks everything spamming high velocity rounds on a crossbow who does it in just over 2min30sec which I think is pretty reasonable considering the approach.

Personally, I do it much quicker on every single ssf char I make these days. Good gear brings it to insta-phase levels of speed.

To put it into simpler language - the health bar feels too large to you because you don't know how to do damage to him effectively. As well, doing so does not require a "gg" weapon, it requires that you use the tools available to you in a more effective manner which involves considering more than just the weapon itself.

It's a difficult fight before you're familiar with it, as are a lot of the poe2 bosses. I'm sure one day he'll be just another loot pinata for you if you keep playing though.

No, YOU missed the point... go check online vids of "how to beat Jamanra"... I checked them out of curiosity to see how long they are since all of you say it's my fault for not doing it fast... they're all 5-6mins or longer... THAT IS A CAMPAIGN ACT 2 BOSS and the people doing it are actually trying to show others how to do it so I suppose they're above average at least...

That is waaaaay too long and waaaay to tedious... and I play Monster Hunter a lot... I know how a long fight can be fun but these PoE2 fights are NOT like Monster Hunter, they're ARPG bosses... so anything above 3 minutes on an average build is UNACCEPTABLE while leveling...

All of your fanbois are so addicted to a mind-numbing endless grind that you've forgotten that this is a VIDEO GAME... not a job... something so mind-numbingly long and repetitive is NOT a game, it's a chore...

Also, the game is extremely punishing to anyone that makes a defensive build... you wanna build defenses to keep yourself alive? Yeah... enjoy doing absolutely ZERO damage... remember PoE1 where you could build a defensive character to tank damage and have fun? Yeah... no... that's not longer an option... it's either glass cannon or mind numbing pain and boredom...

Imagine taking away 90% of the builds that make ARPGs fun and keeping only glass cannons as an option... imagine thinking that is good gameplay...

Seriously, you're all massively missing the point and the fact that you're accepting this chore of a game as good makes the devs happy, cause they know there are plenty of victims out there still...
I always SSF the entire campaign and had no trouble with poison PF, probably the easiest campaign run-through I've done so far

Congratulations... the boss still takes negative damage and his HP bar is still ridiculously high... taking this long to kill an ACT 2 campaign boss is NOT ACCEPTABLE... get it through your thick skulls...

I never said I can't beat the boss... I said IT TAKES TOO LONG!!!

Jamanra takes a little longer than other bosses, that's no secret, but 20 mins is fuckin' long. Also "skill issue" in this game means not just how much you know bosses and their patterns but also how much you know about gear and crafting. If you know which items to pick up and how to transform them from mediocre to very good with curremcy then you have zero problems even in SSF. My current SSF character is lvl 90 and a I did not encounter any gear problems so far (I even have better survivability and DPS than I had in trade lol).

Sure, maybe it took 15 mins and not 20 and I exaggerated due to UNBEARABLE BOREDOM... who cares... it's still TOO LONG... go look online for vids that are guides on "how to beat Jamanra"... the shortest ones are 5-6 mins... the fight takes EASILY 10 minutes on your average SSF build...

My point still exists... IT... SHOULD... NOT.. TAKE... THAT... LONG!!!

English... it's simple English... it should NOT take that long!!!

You should have been around in 0.1 he had about 3x the EHP

The longest part of the fight was the transition. Guy has no chaos res

I checked a guide genius...

you do understand that most "guides" are done by players far better than you, with solid ingame knowledge? Was is actually a leveling build? Did the guide writer describe alternatives if drops don't hold up? nope surely not. act 2 end is a time where an exile can be quite weak compared to mobpower. Taking ages on jammara is normal depending on drops. Coupled with the fact that you don't actually know anything about the game does the rest. Don't play a challenge mode if you're not skilled enough.

Congratulations... you proved my point by trying to argue against me...

you just said... "Taking ages on Jamanra is normal depending on your drops"...

THIS IS MY POINT!!! IT'S AN ACT 2 BOSS AND IT TOOK SO LONG THAT IT KILLED MY WILL TO EVER PLAY THE GAME AGAIN!!!
By end act 2 dualstring bows are dropping, gamble for one, chuck on a regal and a couple of exalts, you've probably tripled your dps in seconds

And there you have it... that is why this is a BADLY made game... one piece of gear is more important than your whole build...

It's amazing how everyone thinks that they're countering my point but you're all just proving it 100%... this game has 90% of your power tied on the gear... it's not an ARPG but a gambling house... just gamble for good gear over and over and over...

The fact that you don't see how inferior this game is to PoE1 is amazing... PoE1 was all about making the right build... PoE2 is all about gambling... and guess what? I did faaaar better in PoE1 because I used my brain and made a decently good build without any guides or anything... just cause I can do basic math...

In PoE2 it's all about cookie-cutter solutions and an endless, mind-numbing grind without any fun in it... you're just grinding to avoid the boredom of everything taking way too long... in PoE1 you actually get excited cause you got a new, cool piece of gear...

Not to mention that all Uniques in PoE2 are USELESS... you get a Unique drop and you wish it was a rare... it's THAT bad...

Which is why they don't add WASD in PoE1... it's not that they can't, that's absolute crap... OF COURSE they can... they just know that if they add it to PoE1 then players of PoE2 might try it and realize how superior it is to PoE2...

PoE1 campaign is even more RNG.. and an incredibly limited skill set until you get to the library in act 3, act 2 POE1 is a drag and the vaal oversoul is also a gear check

Bro just calm tf down and move on at this point. You act like one long bossfight is end of the universe. It's ok not having fun in a game. [Removed by Support]
