What is a point of reflect damage?

No. To increase difficulty you add HP/damage to monsters, not reflect damage

I agree with previous poster that this is against glass canons. The problem is that glass canon play style is the most skilled and tactical, so why panish them?

how is stacking dps to the max the equivalent of a successive player ?

Well, it is not racing game, is it? It is about maxing your DPS because the goal is to kill monsters.

And stacking DPS is at least more intellegent than stacking HP nodes
So whats the point with lightning thorns then?

Or the player can avoid this 'reflect' by using more than 1 skill... an Elemental skill for Phys Reflect, and a Phys skill for Ele reflect.

To build strong phys damage you need phys nodes and gear, same about elemental damage. You can't do both any good, unless you 50:50 converter

Who said you needed 'strong phys damage' simply to take out an ele reflect mob? Take a Chaos damage skill, then. Quit being difficult, and adapt

diablo3 reject who is pissed he has to deal with reflect in this game after he cried so long that blizzard removes it

Nope, I don't deal with reflect damage in this game. I put two totems, wait a couple of seconds, walk further

But I would like to build some melee with high DPS (which is much harder than spaming totems cause you should find high DPS weapon at the very least)
I think this is the biggest fail of the game too, half the fun of an arpg is to see your dps skyrocket when you successfully build a char.
And before the flamers come, I have several 80+ HC char, I know how to deal with reflect, this affixe add nothing to the difficulty of the game, it's just an anti-fun mechanic.

There's nothing tactical or skilled about "stand offscreen, spam lightning arrow in various directions until you stop hearing sounds".

Playing glass canon at levels above 75 when every death send you back by several hours of grinding?

Try for yourself. There is always someone to get you, unless you realy focused and know what are you doing most likely you will stuck in 15% experience lost cycles
