So you're at about lvl96-97 I take it? Most people crying here are below level 90 I believe. If you've made it to 96-97 and random deaths still occur, here's my advice to you -- get better, you're nearly there.

Better advice - play other games. I don't regret it.
Just don't steal hard earned progress. That is the only thing I care about.

Stun lock me, one shot me, dont allow to access certain maps unless conditions met, delete my maps, have mega slow exp gain ...

Just.Dont.Steal.My.Hard.Earned.Progress.

I do not care about any argument In Favor of STEALING. Stealing is never good. Stop practicing it.

A cheap bot would be able to do that if they remove death penalty though. New "META" would be funny but I wouldn't call it "hard earned progress" anymore though.

No one stole your hardearned items and your currency. Nothing is lost. Just as people can only steal your money, and car and maybe even likely, gf. So unless you're playing pvp against someone with more muscle than you or just better equipped... there's a higher chance you'd do something to lower your xp, such as what you iterated earlier, running into a pack of 50 gorillas. You are responsible for your own xp loss. You are your own thief.

Also, it's incorrect to label it hard-earned. It's as hard-earned as someone who eats nuggets and fries every meal and then tells the doctor its his hard-earned health isn't where he thinks it should be.

Exp stealing is not practiced in the tutorial. Stop practicing exp stealing in the maps.

This is all you need.

Lots of DPS.

DPS faster than mob stuns.

Interesting really because in 99.99% other games like this there is no BS mechanic like this.

The problem with it in POE2 is that mobs have like 10000% more stun buildup than the player.

I do great on all maps. I fail on the surprise BS that shows up on expedition, rituals, and strongboxes that randomly lock me in place with not even a mob on my screen all dead...yet here I sit and wait as next mobs kill my guy.

Whole time none of the 3 charms do fukn crap that the text say they do...CANNOT BE FROZEN, CANNOT BE STUNNED. All charms full....

next an Omen sitting in my inventory....when you hit low life your life is replenished along with your ES....guess what that dont work.

Can someone help me with my build LOL? Ha. Then as an added bonus for the random death losing XP. I dodge and weave I am rarely hit. It is only the cheese crap that pisses me off to the nth degree.

Again dyin I got no issues with ...this mechanic of randomly locked up cant play the game and watch guy die when everything is Dead on the fukn screen is a JOKE

In other words, you're saying never die in the 90s. May as well play hardcore.

I quit last season at lvl 92. I could play 10-15 maps and die once or twice and lose all my xp. That isn't a skill issue. Dying once in 10 maps could be a bad game mechanic, a dodge that was barely mistimed into a stack of spells, running into a rare enemy with temporal bubble + mana drain + proximity dmg + insane movement speed(yes bs enemies like that exist and almost guarantee death), or numerous other cheap deaths. I obviously had a good enough character for the content , the XP gain to lose ratio is just waaaay off balance

The funny thing is that you can adjust the difficulty yourself. Do not use suffixes on the waystones, use only prefixes. White and blue stones. Well, if you die even on blue stones without madness, I do not even know what to think of you...)

OK Lets talk about last league where you were 92, coz you're not likely 92 here to be phrasing in this manner.

Considering the meta, i assume you had temporalis, astramentis, dream fragments.. any one of these?
