exactly.

i ran auls in delve with melee and mediocre gear. i had hundreds/thousands of exalts but didn't end up using them for anything.

sort of the same in betrayal, but i played less and amassed less wealth (still a few hundred ex). but in betrayal, i had pretty much garbage gear, at least in terms of the league (ie: i did craft cannot be frozen boots and etc for myself, but the total budget of gear i used was ~5-10 ex). still had no problems with anything (except the mastermind, which wasn't really worth running, anyway) and found the syndicate quite easy, even before their nerfs.

there's just no real reason to bother crafting/getting gg gear - unless one wants to run a mirror service on standard or something.

beats me. my first guess was that someone was confused about coc and cast speed.

Because it could've rolled a great attack-build as well, hence the chance to make it 30% beforehand is important to take.

Imagine it rolling flat+inc phys T1 with the level increase, you would've wished for those 30% then.

To be fair they're doing a ton of nerfing this league, and melee was the one place that needed some powercreep.

I'm not happy with the whiplash back-and-forth gigantic meta swings, especially since they're consciously engineered rather than having much to do with what players want. I'm also not happy with a lot of the specific decisions that were made in that manifesto.

But overall not nearly as much powercreep this league as in previous ones (as far as we know), especially given that the league’s not handing players new absurd item affixes like some others...
