in some ways its almost worse right? In the wider sense of the game, if you play trade league you can theoretically trade for higher tier content access way before you would naturally be able to farm your way into it. If you play ssf you are forced to wait until rng grants u access to given levels of content, which ensures that by the time you get anywhere even close to unlocking it you can already lolcopter stomp it.

You can buy a chayula breach stone day 2 of a league, ssf? ur like 50 hours in and u got 50 splinters, but ur build i already strong enough to beat it. when u eventually get it complete, regardless of if u can beat it or not, its only 5 minutes of content anyway, took you 80 hours to farm it... lol...

you know what i have to do to get 5 minutes of gameplay like that from other games I play? I load the game up and play it for 5 minutes.

theres a lot wrong with this game, but by far the biggest problem since open beta is people sitting around in feedback forums asking why they dont have access to content that makes sense for their characters.

it feels like we bully them into giving us access, but they always walk away thinking they were right but they had to bend because we cried like entitled babies over it. They bent on maps and decided ok, we will allow you to get some more maps so ur not stuck in literally lvl70 zones with a lvl90 character, but I dont think they really understood that what they were doing was idiotic, they thought we were idiotic and it was a shame they had to let us play harder content just to shut us up.

the reason it feels like that is because its a recurring theme. If I trade properly in a league Im gonna need tier 30 maps by the end of week 2, and im gonna need 24/7 chain all day access to tier 30 maps. Its not the xp, i dont care if the xp was the same as a t10, its not the items, its that my character will be 1 shotting rare mobs offscreen with virtually no chance of dying outside of some freak balance fuckup or gigantic misplay where i fall asleep in a puddle of frostbearers in anything less than that level of content.

the reality is that im still gonna be spending a lot of time running t9/t10/t11 maps, most of my time no doubt.

well, i say thats the reality, the reality is actually im gonna be playing overwatch, or grim dawn, or messing in photoshop, painting the new slaanesh models, probably listening to an audio book, watching netflix... doing anything other than playing this awful joke they have let their beautiful game become. Even when I load up into a league by day 2 or 3 I can feel in my heart im done, theres just no game, no purpose, its an item picking up simulator where you dont even need the items to do anything rly. Somewhere in the distance theres a game on the horizon and it just feels like man, lifes too short, u want me to spend 100 hours walking all the way there for a little bit of gameplay? you know what, fuck your game, its 2019 and people value their time. Even the devs wouldnt waste their time 'playing' this game.
