Feedback and Suggestions (Path of Exile 1) - can we please stop the power creep, already? (or better - reverse it) - Forum

that's bullshit, though. i just ran a gladiator build in delve that was practically immortal and it was hardly expensive or ____ prohibited or etc. no gg, no stat stick, etc. even sweep and glacial hammer benefit from all the fucktons of power creep and are actually viable. melee gets shit on because people are too inept to utilize defense. please have some cheese with all the whining you people are doing.. Powercreep is every league. When I came 1.1 GG arc was 27K and you had to run RF to do that. I followed fox's build and barley kill atziri. No chance on uber. Fast forward to acendacy (2.0) I built another arc build and had 250K DPS no RF. That's an order of magnitude. Today 1 million DPS arc is possible. It's the same story down the line of skills not just arc. 30-50x DPS since game dropped. Then again they have to. You don't get players coming back without shinny new shit to pay with - then they buff old skills/items to keep up. It's like a snowball effect. i wish monsters were buffed instead of killing necessary power creep. Start with 10x HP. Double their speed. Then it won't feel so creepy. Git R Dun! Yes why not and only keep 10% of your player base... Power will always be an issue let's face it you : can't balance 200+ skill gems + support with 100000+ affixes thant can roll on items + 10.5 million combinations of passive skills + ascendancies etc. It is beyond repair, eithger you adpat to it (and it gives me a headache each time) or you pass on it and play something else. bullshit. it's not a 'too many affix type' problem. it's a higher tiers added/stupidly OP bench mods added/stupidly OP implicits added/etc problem. these are obvious/intentional changes (or mistakes, as i'd call them).
