That is true. One could see that as a "solution" as almost all options are viable for almost all content. The problem is not that it just makes the game easy. It's not something that can be fixed with a few nerfs here and few boosts there. It's that the diversity doesn't feel real.

Lab enchants on top of implicits? Make corruptions go on top as well, why not?The pro-con decisions a player should make becoming less and less.

At this point it looks like they are just throwing random stuff on top of a foundation that doesn't work as it should. The only way I can make sense of this, is if they planning on hitting the reset in 4.0 and they just go like "enjoy this while it lasts".

Where someone finds the game easy, some will find it hard. I stand in the middle. I don't want an easy game, but i don't want it to catter to hardcore only players that spend 10 hours a day playing PoE.

If they do intend to push the reset button in 4.0, we will have to see how it is done and what we loose in the process... I'm as hyped as i'm afraid of what will come in with 4.0. So for the time, i will enjoy the game for what it is and having fun with Synthesis...

That would only apply to single player games. Games catering only to ''hardcore players spending 10 hours a day '' online based would die fast. Small pop, not enough revenue.

If the distinction between HC and SC players is based on playtime (not talking about leagues), then endgame should consider both. It shouldn't be balanced around players who don't understand yet the mechanics, how to build etc.

Synthesis announcement was disappointing. Going to give it a shot, but after Delve (as repetitive and monotonous as it was) and Betrayal it looks like another "have this extra power with little to no restrictions" - league. I mean, I was completely expecting this but I'm still disappointed.
