I agree that power creep needs to be stopped and over powered skills, items, and passives need to be brought back into line. The game needs to be slower, with much less damage in some cases. It does not need to be 2013 levels of slow, but it needs to calm down.

Some people in this thread keep saying that power creep is irreversible. And I do no think this is true. Yes, some players might get angry and leave because they cannot now 1 shot every boss in the game on a 15c budget, but those players were probably not healthy for the game anyway, and certainly the power creep is not healthy for the game. Also, balancing the game around players that will abandon the game at a moments notice is rather foolish.
-And don't even say that I am abandoning the game at a moments notice. It has been leagues of deterioration.

I am close to quitting this game because of lack of balance, and GGG should not think this game is immune to the effects of stupid balancing. The game WILL die faster because the core player base WILL lose interest.

To those that keep saying that I can just self nerf and not use over powered items, passives, or skills, that logic is flawed. Self nerfing means that a player will not be able to compete economically with items or currency on the market. Which for me is a big part of the game.
In addition to this, self nerfing feels bad. It does not matter what game you are playing. The game must be the entity imposing rules. Otherwise everything is arbitrary.

To those that say," If you do not like the game, do not play (buy) the game." Welcome to retard marketing 101. EA's battlefield 5 policy of "don't like it don't buy it" backfired big time.
Aside from that, I am one of the original players of this game. I don't want to have to find a new game; which, in reality no other game offers this experience. If it did and it were better balanced, I would probably be playing it as we speak. That being said, I am close to the tipping point. Balance needs to be brought back to the game or I, and I think others too, will stop playing, even with no alternative game.

The power of some builds is too high and overly strong items are acquired too easily.

How he highlighted some thing with a clock down the road?

In last months i 6led 6 items, 5 was Belly of The Beast with less then 1000 fusing, and with arround 1200 Jeweller's. So i can choose and highlite how i make 6l with less then 20 fuse, by showing only when i 6led, and not how much i burned before that.
So should that mean that 6linking items it`s easy and it`s op, and need to be balanced?
Should i say before that i burn 2000+ for QOTF and the same chest is still not 6l.

This highlite clips of imba character and so, are so wrong, and that`s why there is so much people crying arround.
You see just a 30sec of highlite, not know how exactly he goes to there, how many time he died and how many time he tried. How can anyone also be sure he has done it by himself, and not some other guy left it to low hp, and he just finished it ?

He did ssf but he swapped to normal to get the sets cause he couldn't get to t red maps.

He didn’t go from zero to shaper. There’s more to the story.
Not just that but he was ALSO using a helm enchant that gave the flamethrower trap 6 flames instead of the usual 4. That's another significant dps boost.
So that video was click bait big time.

He could have run maps for a months and still not get all the fragment he need. Not sure how he will handle high maps, as well as guardians.
And i challenge you, go make SSF one hand and shield Marauder or Gladiator and go kill Shaper in 24 hours, but do all the thing, like you said.
I can count you so much build that can`t done it even in month, even if you focus purely on doing Shaper.

KiwiGivl, no way they will slow the game. This will simply kill the game.
Now for some it takes forever to get good items and establish good currency, if the game goes slower, this will be the end.
How exactly you expect a game to go backwards? Every game elove and the damage goes higher, items get better and so.
That is it.
A i will said it again. Delve is your challenge. Go to depth 500+ and you have challenge.
Some people have to understand finally that this is not a beta anymore, and game could not be change with such big changes you want to be done.
Game at this point should be finish in the way it need to be played. Just new content added and few mirror fixes to be done.

But what percentage of active players have played more than just 2 years even? If it's only a small amount, there's no incentive for GGG to revert anything as a lot of people coming in are likely, at least partly, drawn in by the meta poop.

Idk..this playerbase is odd though. Some really weird ideas about balance.

It was always about beating shaper within 24 hours as long as you're provided the feagments here.

And no, if you can't get the fragment by yourself after a month (given enough hours per day of course), you are doing something wrong.

I`m talking about SSF. Depends on the RNG, you may not get the map you need.
You may not have the currency to roll the maps, so you can go to t16 so easy, as well as items, to do guardians.
There is a factor called RNG.
And yeah 30sec highlight of the clip doesn`t tell you enough of the sotry. Doesn`t tell you anything.
As i said i can make linking 6l items and always succesful in less then 20 fuse, just because i highlite and miss the part how much i burn.
Again, does that mean 6l is easy and it`s op ?

If you are efficient, you definitely can reach shaper (given couple of hoursa day on average at least)

6L is not required to kill shaper with many(most I guess) setups anyway.

I guess he did that on stream btw, which means that .... it was publicly viewable.
