I smashed HotG 2 days ago ( non meta setup ), I had to switch to balefire for that one exile at the end, on hit damage was not a good option.

But all the rest melted pretty much ( not that I did it deathless, I was too reckless ).
You only need that one unique on switch for some exiles, that's it.

You can`t make every character viable to beat end game bosses with 1 day currency farm.
That could be done to only very few builds.
As well it`s a very different currency farm with a beginner player and with you for example.
You probably will use full mf geared character to farm it, and could farm 5exalted in currency for a day, while the starting guy, may not have the time, neither the gear and currency first to roll the map, then the gear to do so high map in a no time.
I`m farming for far more time, as well spend high currency on gear, still not done.

If I'd care enough and if the endless whining of power creep would actually bring fruit, I'd randomly click anywhere on the passive tree and play it from 0 to 90 and kill all Guardians + Shaper with it within 24h of play time 100% solo SSF while streaming it. I'm not even joking, Path of Exile is mindnumbingly easy. There is no challenge left in the game anymore, there's only forced grind to unlock content that you've been able to do already 50 hours ago.

It's irrelevant what "pros" and "rookies" do. You suck at the game? Get good. Everyone has to learn and everyone been a "rookie" at some point. Not to mention you don't need to be a pro, or even mediocre to beat 100% all content in a breeze, just learn the complete basics and you're set.

Where some people want to play some skills because they just like them, not because they are the optimal choices.


Unless you can Solo SSF shaper within 24 hours with sweep ?
I don't quite think that you'll get all 4 guardian maps within 24h though to be honest, I'm not saying that it's impossible, only that if you don't have the access beforehand, it can very likely take much more time than this.

The power creep set the bar for what your build should be. If GGG reduced or even reversed it, people wouldn't know if their build was shit or not anymore. I don't like the power creep, mind you, but that's just it.

Using items / gems that synergize with each other is skill. Being mechanically good in this game isn't hard.

Yeah, I can 100% solo SSF Shaper in 24H with Sweep if I have frags for it. As I said, there is no "challenge" and there isn't anything "difficult" in this game anymore, there's only forced grind to unlock content that you were able to do long time ago already.

Yes, I can't do Uber Elder with a completely random build on SSF because I need specific items / gems for it( which almost every build needs). Other than that, every build I've ever made out of 5 of them, has been able to do Uber Elder. Even MF Power Siphon - WHICH NEVER SHOULD!

My point is that a game about progression has lost any meaning for progression because of power creep. But again, I said that I'd stream it if I'd care enough. The game is dead to me until there are strong buffs to mobs or nerfs to items / tree / whatever.

So the condition is to have the 4 fragments to access it, alright then fair enough.

I feel like the power creep is also invalidating a lot of other playstyles, like there's no real reason to invest in ailments or any form of enemy slowing since we obliterate content like it's nothing. No real need for freeze, chill is laughably ineffective, why do DOT when you can do damage up front, etc.

I really wanna see how you will do Shaper within 24 hours, esp in SSF.
Firstable you need time to get to level 90 atleast, then you need gems with quality, then you need mapping, and to get to t16, then you need to kill guadians. Ops i forget you need plenty of items to do that as well.
No way you will get the require items in 24 hours, on SSF.
I`m pretty sure you won`t be able to do that even in a new league, in normal SC, being allowed to trade with others.
I really wanna see how you will do that for example with One hand and Shield Gladiator for example, or maybe Two handed juggernaut.
The only way i see you can reach shaper asap and do it is with Dual Wield, cause right now is on the top of the mountain.
And still if you start from the scratch you wont do it for 1 day.
We remove trading, and you will have very hard time to roll maps and to get to t14-t15 alone, but to get to t16 in a 1-2 days is impossible.
And if you readed my post i already said, that they need to implement new content, that keep the interest in the old players, that are fat rich, and lose interest in normal stuff, and need challenge.
Delve is one of the thing. When you go deep enough, it`s getting hard enough.
There you can test and challenge your build, your character, with best gear possible, and how far you can go.
And i`m pretty sorry, but this game by no mean it`s easy.
Still i respect your opinion, as everyone have one i just don`t agree with it.

Prior to that I got one shot multiple times in a T11 map, by what I don´t know...

Playing this game legit without external websites and real money, makes you die a lot. Game is far from easy.

Cmon it is just you not being very good there. Baelfire or SR on weapon swap get you cheese this map easy.

You don t need rmt to clear HOGM lol.
