You can attach this as a support gem to any of the movement skills like leep slap

I very like to use concentrated ground skill for this

Well if you are already playing this build, do the following:
1)Remove multistrike alltogether, and just leave Molten strike 5linked.
2)try all the challenging content with 5 link.
3)ask yourself if it is viable.
4)answer 3).
The build's mechanics do not rely at multistrike.

if mulstistrike does not support projectile dmg, we might swap it out.

I have done Aul, first time ever, deathless at 365 depth with criticals, 100%+ lightning and fire damage, facetanked Minotaur with extreme mods, didnt lose more than 500 health on bar... today I opened a diviners box , instant death!!!
What the hell? what kind of damage is detonating nearby corpses?

3.7 update. We confonded molten strike with a spell and gutted it. Well RIP in pepperoni. I will never play you, sweet nebulochs :(

However, we thought winter orb was not good enough and buffed its single target while not really nerfing it's cleanability (HoIbois). Go play melee guys !

Molten Strike
Now deals base damage equal to, and has an added damage effectiveness of, 120% at gem level 1 (unchanged), up to 130% at gem level 20 (from 160%).
Now adds 2 to 3 fire damage to attacks at gem level 1, up to 75 to 113 at gem level 20.
Now requires that you hit an enemy in order to produce projectiles, and splits the number of projectiles it produces evenly among all targets (if it can).
Projectiles now deal 50% less damage at all levels (from 40% less at gem level 1, to 30% less at gem level 20 previously).
Damage over time from projectiles now deals 50% less damage at all levels (from 40% less at gem level 1, to 30% less at gem level 20 previously).
Now has +2 to melee range at gem level 1 (from 0), up to +6 at gem level 20 (from +2).
