Strength base is harder to colour because it will heavily favour red sockets.

The best way to do it is to use the bench to craft '3 sockets', then use the 'at least 3 blue sockets'. Then you use the old 'vorici' trick: use the crafting bench to craft '4 sockets'. There is a small chance it'll be blue. If it's not blue, craft '3 sockets' then craft '4 sockets'. If it's blue, then you can craft '5 sockets'. You repeat that until you get 5b1g.

You will end up burning a low of jeweller's orbs though. So it's actually more cost effective to get a int base chest.

Perfectly fine. The trigger wand is only a QoL upgrade. You can either manually cast desecrate and offering (which is what everyone did before 3.5) or just ignore the skills completely. The build will work fine.

The gear is almost exactly the same. One difference is that you only need one unset ring for the evasion build.

I'm going to update the evasion build this weekend with fortify snap shot, so some of the gem combinations are being re-optimised and moved around. There's also another unique jewel you will need (1c).

6L prophecy is activated with jeweller orb, so i'm almost sure this will fuck up any colors you already have there? And there is pretty much zero chance to color it after 6L.

Do not forget to set boss type as Shaper and do not touch enemy fire resist - POB calculates it's fine.

Shaper dps is 1mln... don't know where I lost 200k dps... but I killed him so fast... even didn't see how he was melted whili I was running from grey balls )
