[3.6] Fire Elemental Hit Deadeye - Budget - Endgame

Insanely fun build before Delve, made a few changes but the damage and clearspeed is beyond comical.

Any leveling tips for this? thinking of trying it in delve... or is it not a good idea?

Guessing this build is not good for a new league then

Start with diferent character - something like blade vortex or sunder that doesnt need much gear. Once you aquire jewels and rings roll this one.

Any suggestions on a ranger character that can respec without too many regrets? I only like to play one character each league and focus on that one. Are there any builds that can follow this tree somewhat and do okay?

It shouldn't be too bad. The combo of Pyre, Call of The Brotherhood, Avatar of Fire (keystone), and the two Combat Focus jewels roughly double your DPS now (ignoring what you give up to use them). These are the "required" uniques that are the only reason people say it's a bad league starter. However all of these combined were only ~half an ex half way through Incursion (when I started this build), which shouldn't take long to farm. Although they will probably be more expensive to start the league, the nerf will mean less people playing it so maybe not, and you can still get by without them temporarily. There's a huge opportunity cost to two rings, two jewel slots, and a passive keystone that is way out of the way (or a 8 ex amulet), so in reality they aren't nearly a double damage boost.

This build loses roughly 33% of its totally bullshit dmg

People keep quoting this number, but with Frostferno it's actually more like 38-40%. Still should be fine though obviously.

Blood Drinker 0.4% node near Shadow start, which is enough to cap leech for most people. Some people get extra leech with Vitality Void before they can cap with 0.4%, and others get extra leech with the Soul Raker cluster and Lioneye's Fall.

40% nerf is pretty big.. what do you all think about playing it this league? Something else, or still very strong?

this build is ok to start with, but you still need some expertise to play it before you've got good items this build needs
