GGG, don't favour streamers for CBT access.

Also Kripp just said on his stream just now, he will be streaming PoE's Act 4 new contents as long as his "schedule" allows.

If he does, and has at least some access to the beta contents, and if the contents are pretty good, he can easily cause thousands of people to try PoE especially a lot of his viewers are hardcore ARPG that got tired of D3 (hence they watch him play PoE).
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

Welcome to PoE.

A streamer is still a player though. GGG Shouldn't be favouring one player over another for any reason. It's that simple really.

It's like if Chris gave ZiggyD a mirror no one would be happy. Replace mirror with CBT Access.

Even allowing those with the highest play time per 24h in first would be a lot more fair than this.

ZiggyD can make money for GGG... you can't.

I am an IT and I do hardware reviews for a well known PC magazine on the side.

nVidia sent me a GeForce Titan X 12GB graphic card (yes for free before it's even released) and said I can keep the sample...

I am sure you and your buddies will be unhappy with me getting a thousand dollar graphics card, since nVidia is so insanely unfair to you and your friends and should be sued... right?

He cant make money for GGG? Lol, logical faux pas much? He can donate to GGG as much as a streamer can get people to donate if they like the game he plays.

Sure kid, I dont even see his Ruler title...
Assume Ziggy ONLY got 1000 players (about 10%) of his average viewers
And half of them brought 1 single stash bundle, that's $10000 to GGG...

Original closed beta forum interaction got you a better chance other than that it was random.I imagine scanning through feedback forum will get them the best type of participants.

yes I agree... if PoE is really anything less retarded than blizzard games... a lot of his viewers will sure try PoE out... like you know when he streamed PoE back in the days he got so much players into this game and his name ended up in Path of Exile's credit list...

I hope kripp comes for a week with his 5k+ viewers and gets a bunch of them interested.
The more people watch streamers the more potential $$ for GGG. Also i'd prefer to watch ghudda shenanigans than mathil's but thats just me.

What's so wrong about the streamers getting picked first? It's not like they are not knowledgeable. A lot of them consistently get 8/8 and have played since Closed Beta. They cover pretty much all the criteria that were discussed in other threads on top of also being able to get a lot more people interested and showing the content to the people that wont get picked in the first weeks.

The closed beta CAN'T be open to everybody in the beginning because the goal isn't for people to have fun, its for GGG to find bugs and imbalances that they missed, to test servers and systems, to start the feedback going.

I wish PoE does well, hence I really hope Kripp streams Act 4 since the videos I watched so far look great. And kripp averages 25k viewers currently, and many are ex-Diablo players... talk about business opportunities and of course money...

He's not the only streamer but he owns the most viewers that's relavent... a good streamer has over 5k average concurrent viewers, and he pulls 25k. And many old school PoE players were here whole and partly because of Kripp...

In short he's the most notable PoE streamers that has the most viewers... I mean he fired up his live stream an hour ago and his 1st answer to his viewers are about PoE... and again lots of his viewers are ex-Diablo players which is like half way inside PoE's door already.

No where did I say he's the only relevant streamer, you, sister you said that, not me.
