How the fuck does anyone play hardcore?

Yes you are. Maybe you are and that is why you are being salty ? I have reached 4/4 and had only one death, my fault but none related to dsync ( I was playing ranged ) I would never try to play melee on the current meta it's just plain stupid.

Take in count that when playing hardcore, to minimize chances to die you have to pick everything very carefully, from your party members to who is hosting the party and where in the world the instance is being created.

Yes, I am still a bad player. But In hardcore you learn. In standard you just try to sell your close to mirror gear forever without luck unless you rip off some noob.

No challenge, nothing. I had a ton of bad inherited habits from standard when I ripped first time in HC. Now I have a much more HC mindset than when I started. Again, I would never play melee on HC or even SC right now, it's just retarded.

I haven't had a single dangerous desync situation playing ranged on HC. If you play melee it will probably be another very different history.

I simply wouldn't play hc with an unreliable connection. Ofc you can't rule out lag entirely so I favour extremely defensive builds like dual totem/mom/aa/evade.

Desync isn't something that kills me but lag spikes at the wrong moment have. Not very often, though.

Hardcore community are friendlier? How do you know this if you don't play on standard?

standard is contaminated by ripped items. You can try and play self found and as if its HC but then every time you die you gotta delete the items and never use them again and no one really does that


And yes HC community also has dicks in it but in general there are more cool people to interact with. At least thats my hc experience.

It's pretty harsh so far in my experience. Super overleveled level 62 tanky character in cruel and was dead in less than a second from a possessed Kole when I finally decided to go advance the quests by killing Piety.

But HC is contaminated with Alt F4 and logout macros!!!

Who could even give a fuck about how many items there are in standard? There's also 100x more players there for that to be distributed amongst than in HC.

I would never play perma HC though, only HC leagues from now on.
