if you would play HC you would know we are a really helpful and a way better community than the softcore one , if you would try to empathize and understand more than one size of a conflict you would understand that people tend to dislike stupid questions that discriminate them in some way, especially stupid questions that come from stupid people who prefer to blame others on their own mistakes.

as someone who plays in hardcore and softcore leagues I can tell you for sure this works in reverse too. when they first introduced dominus had no idea about the blood rain, so when I fought him in act3 normal... I'm not that experienced but I would think that the safer way to play HC is party play. If you do only that you'll never get much farther than 85 though.

Challenge.
I ripped my fair share, at times due to some upsetting desynch (although rarely), most times due to overconfidence or not knowing what I was getting into.
In the end, I want to create a powerful character like everyone else but I strongly favor doing so in an environment where it has a true meaning (HC).
SC is fine too but you sure don't play in the same way when you just know you're going to make it anyway in the end. My personal feeling is that I get a greater sense of achievement (plus the economy is so much better imo).

Definitely.Playing in party,especially with aurabot and curse suports is faceroll of game.Not to mention that in parties you have way lower chance that particular dangeorous mob will hit you.

As a hardcore player, the one thing that annoys me the most are these "hardcore" players who act as if they are better than everyone else because they don't play softcore.
If you never die in HC, you either don't play very much, play in zones you are vastly overleveled for, never do anything challening mods on maps.. or use autopots or other "cheats".. Or maybe you just RMT your way into 6L's of the most epic items.

Id gladly play on HC though ...
As soon as I get single player offline PoE. Hardcore & Online = Retarded game design, especially with so much desync.

A logout macro and understanding of the game, your character, etc... will make it so you only die to being 1 shot.
I started playing HC after onslaught, and on probably 20-25 HC characters I had only 1 die before lvl 75 / Maps, and it was because I went afk at the end of a ledge run and someone from an earlier group invaded and PK'ed me with pulled mobs (i tped from WP). 99% of deaths from good players come from being 1 shot, the other 1% is desync, which I have never had the misfortune of dying to, and if you follow some basic rules its pretty much a non factor. A lot of idiots get lag on their end and immeditry scream out DESYNC, when it's just shitty internet.
The real question is how can anyone play on softcore after learning the game? Playing and never dying or having a sense of being somewhere on the ladder where ppl can fall off of it. Everytime I make a SC character I just can't handle how boring it is around lvl 80 and just feel bad and quit.

80+ is boring in SC and HC..... the reason is that 2 years of grinding the same areas and same bosses gets old..
unless you get a Mjolner.. that of course made it fun again.. but then they nerfed the block and ruined it.. discharge sucks!... so now going past 80 to get the last piece of the armor set was boring again.
