Please Remove MoM from Tree

It doesn't help any character that its close to and is a slap in the face to Duelist. Other key stones such as RT, EB, etc. make sense for their location relative to nearby class starting points at least. Either tone down the node or remove it from the game.

Don't you mean please move MoM to another point in the tree and give duelist an actually worth notable?

Also remove CoD and the supporter's idea who created it.

But seriously, what a stupid idea. MOM is in an OK spot. Until most builds start using it, it doesn't need any change. Even all EB builds don't use it. It is a niche notable and it serves it niche very well, it also has a large drawback where normally a notable on the complete opposite of the tree much be used with it or a unique that costs a pretty premium with 5 or 6L, that the majority of players are unable to afford, especially for the 6L.

I don't know I like it

102% increased mana
2% attack damage leeched as mana
45 mana gained on kill
2 mana gained on hit

with acrobatics obviously since we aren't use EB sounds legit

Won't be able to run high level clarity or AA but acrobatics and mana gained on kill should make up for it. Use Atziri Foible. Only problem is why not leave out MoM and use the CoD. You are probably going to want an evasion chest with high mana which is CoD. Sooooo yeah......

I'd change Cloak of Defiance to "When hit, 20% of Damage is taken from Mana before Life," remove MoM from the Cloak, and keep MoM as it is.

But a keystone move might make sense.

Yes, we need more legacy uniques! I'm sure Hrishi would just *love* that.

It doesn't need any further changes, the chest is fine.

The position of the keystone on the tree is not. There are multiple reasons why the chest is popular, but the biggest being that the location on the tree is absolutely terrible for anyone and everyone that wants to use it.

I was thinking that change myself, then again it really wouldn't help the situation that much.

I understand wanting to seperate the 2 keystones as they are powerful together, but at the same time duelist has no reason for that keystone and it only forces people hands into using that chest instead of building around the keystone.

MoM just needs to move to the big empty spot west of witch elemental starting branch.

CoD never would have even "needed" a nerd the because people who actually wanted MoM would be able to mostly reasonably take it, and the unique would have been far less used.

I've always felt strongly that Blood Magic should be in the Duelist area. Using Life instead of Mana is really a lack-of-Int thing, not a Strength thing. I'd love to see BM in MoM's current spot. Might even be able to boost Mortal Conviction to 60%.

I feel MoM would fare better in BM's current spot. It would be within striking distance for Templar, giving them survivability for the mana regen they have ample access to, and caster trees spanning from EB to MoM would be more possible than they are now, but I feel the detour for MoM would still carry an appropriate cost.
