So please don't tell us how liquidity is not important based on your limited view of the big picture in economics.

Translation: "Please stop thinking for yourself and start believing in those fancy terms we have made up to sound more credible!"

If "thinking for yourself" equals being ignorant to the bigger picture, then yes, you're spot on.

And i'm sorry 'fancy terms' like economy confuses you. Freedom!

What you're claiming is wrong based on two principles:

1. You do realize that digital products exist in the real life too right? Games, videos, programs etc are non-tangible, and do not cause additional expense because of production and do NOT require additional resources, and yet they follow the same principle.

The production potential is endless without an increase in costs whatever. This alone proves that you've no clue what you're talking about.

You still need to pay people if you want to keep selling your product, so it does require additional resources. Additionally, these products have the quality of being produced once and their copies being sold, not the products themselves, POE has no such products. So it seems i'm not the one, who has no clue.

And your second point has nothing to do with what i wrote.

Please tell me more how selling more of a digital product requires additional resources, and how you have 'pay people' more.

My second point is the whole baseline of consumerism. That value exits the game, making liquidity an important aspect.

Carry on being ignorant, this is a waste of time, I'm done.

I see you ignore the parts of the post you don't like and twist others to be more comfortable to you. I said that selling digital products (I said nothing about selling more requiring more) takes effort and you need to pay people for that effort, unless you're saying that's not true and all the IT companies should fire their sales departments. Also, let me repeat: "Additionally, these products have the quality of being produced once and their copies being sold, not the products themselves, POE has no such products."

As for your second point, just because value exists, does not mean that liquidity is important.

If you're somehow not done yet and decide to answer please do it properly, without twisting and skipping.

I never said, i was confused. On the contrary, you seem to confuse me with a complete moron if you honestly think that i even take you seriously if your "argument" like that.

(To avoid confusion: The reason i put "argument" in quotation marks is that i don't deem your pseudo-scientific nonsense worthy of that term. Just saying before you come up with another weird theory...)

Anyways, i'm going to sleep now, so if it makes you happy, feel free to declare yourself the winner of this discussion. ;)

PS: My economics class has been a few years ago already but somehow i seem to recall the word liquidity, from a totally different context with a slightly different meaning though. Can't help myself but think that you don't really know what you're talking about yourself... ^^

I just receive a whisper from a guy asking to buy a dagger I have listed. He doesn't make an offer so I throw out 15 chaos..

He pleads for me to lower my price to 5 chaos, and swears he is just a broke noob.

I consider it because I've been there, but just to check I search him on the forums.

The guy has for sale/recently sold literally every expensive unique around:

Crown of eyes, 6L shav, 6L voltaxic, legacy Bor...

He didn't even give up there, I called him out on it and he swore he was broke..

New level of dirtbag.

Yep its utterly retarded, this is a free market either participate or do not.

The flipping argument is the equivalent of people sniping trash from swap meets and putting it on ebay, just grow up ffs.

ANYONE whining about "flippers" must be incredibly insecure and overly sensitive to the actions of others in which case i think you would benefit NOT playing games with online interaction with other people and free markets.
