They decide ( on any games ) forum that the game is dead, and either stay or quit. That's pretty much all there is to it. Every game has them, always will. It's the nature of these kind of people/sheeple to whine and do some doomsaying, and often they have decided their view is the end of all things. It's not like you can turn their heads even if you try, you will only be met with counterarguments, resistance, and more whining so just feck 'em, right? I've seen that said to people who've made only one comment on the forums. Even if you think some troll deserves it there could be people new to the forum who read that and think "wow, this place is kind of s shithole if every single thread has someone saying that." Negativity is contagious, and being more negative to someone who is shit-posting (well, someone you just disagree with - how dare they) does not make the forums a better place. Letting this kind of doomsaying boneheads do their bidding is hardly more negative than their whining. Whiners make the most noise, and most people aren't whiners. Hence when you check out any game forum you mostly see negativity, as the non-whiners are playing the game instead of making threads in the forums. Whining/doomsaying about a playerbases size isn't criticism. It's just whining and doomsaying. Does someone honestly think it will fix the supposed "issue"? Yeah, didn't think so. Honestly, for good or for worse, there aren't many pure fanboys left. The forum poster Slayer is probably as close to it you can find in this forum, but it is certainly not as bad as you can see fanboys in other contexts. For instance the "PC purists" fanboys are far more fanatical.
