Aegis Aurora will not turn legacy, dont be fooled

yes this seems to be the general consensus throughout the community. im sorry everyone but block is fine... it one of the few things left in the game that works right.

AA is not ok. ppl abused it as far as possible and tbh im getting sick and tired of ggg nerfing the whole tree because of their lack of individual testing. they know it is the problem... and now they are going to make entire community suffer because of one item.

Nothing. Max block is way to easy to get on the skill tree. Would make more sense to diminish more block nodes the nerfing a single item.

Remember: Aegis only good because of max block from tree. Garbage if you only have 40% max block.

I only have 1 and that's for skin. If people make money, then that's good. Good luck selling, soooooo many in the server. If price drops to garbage after block changed, meh. Invasion and Ambush are coming out as well.

But it is funny to see items jump up 20 ex in 1 day though lol.

Actually, Crest of Perandus (with life + 10% more block chance + 3% leech) was better for me in domination than Aegis until I had the passives to make up the block difference + finally reached IR and got some ES. Aegis is not the instant YOU WIN button you believe it to be. It's only after you get the other items does it become that way.

These people clearly didn't listen to the same interview as me, though, because I heard Qarl say block in PvE was probably not getting a change but that items related to it might and to infer what you would from that (as they were talking about Aegis.)

You've misunderstood.
40% block chance is 40%, so there's no 10% bonus from CoP.

And even if you had 40% with Aegis and 50% with CoP, Aegis is still better by far.
That 3% leech can be obtained elsewhere, while ES replenishment on block can't.
And that 3% leech is nothing compared to that ES replenishment, I can provide practical examples if you want, but I really don't think it's necessary.
You're saying CoP was better, and I completely don't believe you on that.

Aegis might not be an instant win as soon as you equip it, but it's an instant win compared to any shield in game, by far.

EDIT: Of course, after you can equip the Aegis...

Aegis needs nerfed.

It's blatantly overpowered imo.
